Does this meter detect cell phone waves?

I have detected any cell reaction(s). I believe if the EMFSensor picked up any signal in would display a rhythmic reading, i.e., like a ringer, etc. So my answer is NO.ProfBill

Can this be used to detect microwave electromagnetic waves?

Not unless the microwave is not shielded(?). . .my unit has never gone off.Prof Bill

What frequencies of EMF does this meter detect?

That is not in the specs and I have no idea. All I know is if they are harmful it buzzes and turns red. I found quite a few things in my bedroom that had high emf like a CD player and that was helpful to me. I am not a scientist. I did not find any ghosts, but still hoping!

Can this detect EM interference from cables and wiring??

Yes. A better instrument to detect interference from cables and wiring is the Cellsensor, which has a probe and two scales, 0-5 (High sensitivity) and 0-50 (Normal sensitivity)
