Gibson Les Paul Hard Case

This was a replacement for a TKL Les Paul case that didn't fit my 2014 Gibson Les Paul Studio. I thought since they were made by the same company (Gibson's OEM cases are made by TKL Canada), the TKL model would work. The Gibson branded TKL is a bit more money, but it fit my Les Paul like a glove. Unlike like the TKL branded case the padding on the Gibson case is sculpted so it doesn't put pressure on the 3-Way switch. The interior is a nice plush gray "fur" and the tolex has a great looking embossed leather pattern. The only negative is the placement of the handle. It should be further back to compensate for the weight of the guitar's body. When carrying it the back end swings down. Other than that it's a great case. And I found out that TKL is a big part of the famous Gibson smell. The vanilla scent people associate with a Gibson guitar comes primarily from the glue TKL uses to assemble their cases. In a gig bag a Gibson has a faintly sweet smell that fades over the course of a year or less. Put one in a TKL case and it'll smell like vanilla. :)

This is THE authentic Gibson case for THE authentic Gibson Les Paul. It is sized perfectly to fit just about any year or model Les Paul, this one was purchased for an 80's Les Paul Studio and it fits like a glove. For normal road travel or even some gigging this case is built to withstand whatever rigors there may be. Note that while this is probably one of the most high quality cases you can buy this is NOT A FLIGHT CASE. Meaning I would not check this (or any other non-ATA flight case) on an airplane and not expect the potential for damage. This will probably endure everything else that you can throw at it though. Very happy with the case and quality, must own for anyone who owns a Les Paul without a hardshell case.

My Les Paul Studio 60's Tribute fit in it perfectly. I own Les Pauls and this was the only one that didn't come with a hard shell case. The case is almost identical to my Gibson USA case. Dimensions are identical. The fit is amazing. I'm not really sure what else to say about this. It's a case. It doesn't really do much. It has a cubby to put stuff in. The lining is fluffy plush type material. Mine is white inside. (All 3 of my Gibson LP cases are white on the inside.) Note for Epiphone Les Paul owners: I don't think the longer head will fit in the case.

Wonderful case! Interior very plush and fits Gibson or Epiphone Les Paul guitars like a glove. Like the dual neck support with generous storage in between the supports. This is truly a case of getting what you pay for. It's worth the extra money over its cousin the Epiphone case or cases I have from Gator.

Bought this to replace my old Gibson case which had issues (worn white lining, broken handle). This is THE case for a LP. Fits like a glove and the plush faux fur - in gray - is just gorgeous. Hardware on the handle is still cheesy - not sturdy enough, in my opinion. If only the manufacturer would improve on this, the case would be perfect! Also, discovered some glue remnants along the edges, inside the case and also on the ribbon the keeps the top from flipping fully open, but it's easy enough to just pick it off. Made in Canada! Shipment time as promised, box was in good shape (no mishandling by shipper). All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. FYI: This case fits both the LP Studio and the 60's neck.

Not as nice as the brown cases that have come with my Les Paul Std. and ES Les Paul. Build quality is very good, but the black covering on the outside is not as nice in appearance as my brown Gibson cases and looks like it will not hold up for the long haul. . Looks slightly cheap on the outside. Interior looks first class though and fits my Les Paul Studio like a glove.

Case is ok but not the quality I would expect from Gibson. Fits my 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom very well but it doesn't feel as strong and as well built as older Gibson cases I've owned. Also found a rivet laying in the box that I'm not sure where It came from. If I find that it came from this case........ I'm gonna be pissed!!

Guitar case was very nice and fit my 2016 Les Paul Faded very snug. Small pocket under the neck easily carries my tuner, picks and extra stings. I had read a review on this case that it puts pressure on the pickups selection switch however best I can tell there appears to be enough room when I close the case that it doesn't put any pressure on my switch. I am happy with this case and would buy it again if I ever needed another one.

Ho appena ricevuto il pacco, sono molto soddisfatto, la merce era imballata in maniera molto sicura, la custodia e' perfetta all'interno si sente il classico profumo Gibson la Les Paul ci sta a pennello. Consiglio l'acquisto. Ottimo prodotto di un marchio di grande spessore!

Für meine Gibson LP hatte ich bisher nur ein labberiges Gigbag, einmal zur Probe mitnehmen und schon ist alles grob verstimmt, vom anschlagen am nächsten Türrahmen mal ganz abgesehen. Daher musste ein ordentliches Case her. Meine Gibson LP passt wie angegossen in das Case das mit dunkelgrauem Kunstfell ausgeschlagen ist, nichts wackelt. Es gibt einen zusätzliches Fach für Kabel/Picks/Tuner und anderen Kleinkram. Verarbeitung ist super, das rechtfertigt dann auch den Preis.

Perfect fit for my Les Paul tribute...snug as a bug. Quality is first class, sturdy, good fastening clips, stong handle, and excellent plush lining. Handy storage compartment for strings/strap/etc,. Particularly like the double "rest" for the neck which is alwaysa worry with Les Pauls. Overall well pleased

This is a good quality hard case for a Les Paul from Gibson Gear. The guitar fits snugly into the moulded, fur-lined interior and it closes with five metal clasps, four on the front and one at the back. The case is very solid and durable, the handle robust and large enough for even a large hand. The black case has ‘Gibson’ emblazoned on the front in white lettering, so you can easily ID the case containing your Les Paul.
