This is a jewel in disguise, but understand, it's not for everybody.
I've owned 5 of these razors over several years. In additional, I have also tried the norelco, foil, and flat strips types comparing then all. My personal criteria for a razor is for it to be in a compact size, to get a reasonably close shave, no skin irritation, without using foam, making a mess, or requiring a charging station. This one razor has met all my requirements. It's designed to be a travel/touch-up razor, but I use mine as my daily razor because I like it so much. Every other electric razor I have used (up to those that cost $150 dollars and requires a charging station) those do not shave any than better or closer than this razor! How does is it compare to the closeness of a blade razor? Blade razor wins, but not by much. Considered as a "cheap" razor, it punches way above its weight. I'm impressed. Here's how I use it. I replace the two 2AA batteries every 4-5 weeks. One of the things I hate is having a charging station taking up space and tying up an electric outlet by my sink. Batteries are cheap. My experience has been that the razor will last about 2 years. However, you will need to possibly have to replace the foil screens each year. Like every electric razor, those screens will wear out over time. On the other hand, I've never had to replace the cutting blades ever. You can buy the foil screens separately; they are very cheap. But given the price of the razor, just order a new one if can't find a replacement screen. Once a week I snap off the foil screens, clean out the stubble and lubricate the blades. Thats is it for maintenance and longevity. I have found that if I go more than 2-3 days without shaving, the razor will not shave as well the first time you resume. It will miss hairs (because they are too long to enter the foil screen) or will pull on your beard, ouch! My recommendation is that you shave with a blade razor first if you have gone without shaving for several days. My beard is normal size, not coarse. I would not recommend this razor for someone with a coarse beard. You'll need more power than this razor can generate. There is no trimmer function, its only purpose is for shaving. I give it 5 stars if you understand its design and limitations. If you have a normal beard, want a comfortable and close shave, want to get the job done with no frills, no fuss and with an incredible reasonable price; you should be happy with this purchase. I just bought another one! By the way, I don't shave in the shower and I don't know if it is rated as such. I also don't use shave gel/foam. Don't want the mess.

Great little travel shaver. Very good value.
Haven't used it a whole lot, yet. It is basically relegated to being my "touch up" shaver if I miss a spot and notice it at work. However, in limited usage, the shave is remarkably close without irritation and reminds me of my "old school" shavers from years ago. The shave is quite a bit better than the Remington PF7320 purchased several years ago. I only have two issues: As a travel shaver, having a charger may be better than using batteries. It could go either way, depend on how long you need it in that capacity, though. Of course, you can always pack extra batteries. The other issue is the switch to turn it on/off. While I appreciate the integrated microfoil sheild, it would be much better to have it de-coupled from the switch function. I find it annoying that I need to engage the shield to turn it off - especially when just using it for touch ups. All told, though, this is far from a dealbreaker. This shaver is substantially better than a lot of the no-name (or weirdly named) options available - and very reasonably priced. Very good value.

0/10 terrible!!! Doesn’t even shave!!!
I would give it 0 stars if I could. This literally didn’t even take off ANY hair!!! I tried to get rid of my beard stubble and it wouldn’t budge. Then I was like maybe that hair is too short to I tried to shave my leg hair and EVEN that wouldn’t cut. Do not buy this!! Just spend the extra 10 bucks to buy a shaver that works!!

Compact battery power shaver for your 5 o’clock shadow
I have an older RemingtonTraveller model for over 20 years. This new one works great. Needs to be cleaned and spray lubed after 3 or 4 shaves. I use a larger Braun shaver brush to clean the cutting head grooves and foil even though a small brush is included in the shaver body. I ordered a replacement foil but haven’t found a replacement head blade source yet. Takes 2 AA batteries which are included. Item can fit in your pants pocket.

Perfect size for travel
This is working great so far and has a close shave. It’s smaller than other razors, perfect size for travel.
