Q: Does the colour match with the c-class 2009 grey?

Not sure but it is a perfect match for mine an A class and I’m fairly sure all mountain Mercedes’ mountain greys are the same. I would give it a go.

Q: is this a brush or a pen and how does it work

It is both. Take off the plastic top, place the metal point at the site that you intend to paint and squeeze gently while pressing the point against the surface to be painted. To use the brush, just unscrew the top (under the plastic clear cap) and pull up - magic - there is the brush.

You just need to press the tip gently where you want the paint to be applied and squeeze the container. Mine blocked after several uses. I cleared it by wiping the tip with a tissue soaked in white spirit, dipping the tip in white spirit for a minute or so and then using a bristle from a paint brush to cleat the hole. A bit fiddly but worth it in the end.
