Just what I needed and wanted

Using as a square chisel
I didn’t buy to use with a mortiser. I intended to use to make square holes for my railing balusters. Work well and have stayed sharp. Getting the job done. Now I am looking at getting a mortiser to do more wood work.

Watch out! Get the adapter!
You need to get an adapter for the drill, otherwise these bits will stay loose and not work making the square hole

Carpenters dream
Saw these advertised on Instagram and great value in Amazon. Great value and great addition the work bench

Decent quality for the price.
Bits are all labeled in mm, so takes a little figuring to convert to standard. I had to hone them a bit because they had some burrs on the cutting edge. they aren't particularly hard but seem to hold up ok.

These are not sharp couldn’t cut butter with them
These drillbits are definitely not sharp. I put them in my drill and I could barely press down and make a hole. I don’t know why they’re not sharpened but really it was just a waste of money.

sharpness is the key to making good mortises
did not like the fact that all bits had only metric labels
