This GFB100 blower is made to be used with Pleasant Hearth vent free gas fireplaces. It cannot be used with vent free gas stoves such as the model VFS2-PH20DT stove, which can be used with the model PBAR-2427 blower. - GHP Group Customer Support

Q: does this have 2 speeds?

one speed is all it has. no high rpm's, but pushes hot air out better than if you didn't have it. does make a difference.

Q: How loud is it? If there is a sones rating available that would be perfect.

This blower is designed to have a silent operation. It does not have a dB or Sones rating for noise.

Q: Does this work with wood burning fireplaces?
