It really is tangle free in use, very effective. It's lightweight and arrived promptly and well packed. A bit pricey, but a durable and useful brush.

No longer a screaming match
An amazing wet brush! Doesn’t break my hair when wet. We also got this because my three year old HATES having her hair brushed because of the pain from the knots, we have previously tried detangling sprays & different types of detangler brushes without effect. We call this the magic brush in our house because it glides through her hair, takes the knots out with minimal pain - WE LOVE THIS BRUSH. Has made a daily screaming match a joyful and effortless task - grateful mumma.

What an AMAZING Brush!
Dealing with waist-length hair, braided 2 weeks, totally matted all over the back of head & nape, due to constant head-scratching at the base of braids. Lol, I assumed that we’d be cutting more than we’d be brushing. 1/2way up the braids, we started running into hair that had tangled within the braids even. From there on it was just all tangles, snarls, knots & what my Mother used to call ‘rat’s nests’ (from when ratting one’s hair for height was common). It was b-a-a-a-d! ‘Kept lightly brushing with this new brush — it had arrived that morning. And... ‘Kept watching the snarls and tangles and seriously matted nests magically, surprisingly, astonishingly and 99% !!painlessly!! straightening out, smoothing out, beginning to shine under & with the very mild/light brushing! Not heavy pulling. Not having to section the hair off into minuscule sections & switch back & forth between large & fine tooth combs & different types of brushes — for a couple of hours. None of that. ‘Just a 1/2 hour of repeated gentle brushing till we got thru the different matted areas and were now brushing soft and gleaming snarl-FREE long hair! Brava! Several people I know are getting one in their Yule stockings. Some long-haired kids before then - so that getting ready for school doesn’t have to hurt anymore. Btw — I put the 2nd brush in my vehicle’s glovebox.
