Can this set be used for multi-line phone system?

This is a single-line device. However, you can connect it, using an appropriate adapter, to any one of your multiple lines. In my case, I have the phone connected to my first (primary) line . There is no feature to answer additional lines.

No, it comes with 1 handset and you can purchase additional handsets separately.

how is the maxime distance for this in meters? Thanks

Hi Alexander,We have a three stories hotel and we haven't had even a single problem with this phone. I can't tell what would be the exact range for this phone but I am pretty sure it would be somewhere around 200 meters.

Can I attach an external outdoor antenna provided it works on the 900mhz band? Does it have an sma connector?

Yes, an external antenna can be used with this base unit, but the connectors are unique (per FCC) so the antenna would also have to use these same connectors. EnGenius offers two antennas: SN-ULTRA-AK20L (outdoor) and SN-ULTRA-AK20L-IND (indoor)
