Great wrist saver!
Perfect for those tax return packets! Very soft arm push that is wide and stable. Full capacity pack, 70, needs slightly more push but the arm width keeps it stable.

Sturdy, reliable and worth the money
I do a lot of paperwork at home for guardianship purposes and for years my stacks of paperwork were held by binder clips. I finally got sick of that and decided to buy this stapler. It has worked without a hitch and is saving me filing space that the clips were taking up. It was the perfect purchase for my purposes and I've never regretted buying it.

Great Stapler!
Works very well. It doesn't make the staples rounded up - just flat, but I've felt numerous ones, and it doesn't scratch you at all. I think it does bend them up slightly into the paper, but they probably make the edges of the staples rounded (not sharp), so it helps not to get scratched. This is perhaps one of the reason that they want you to use Optima brand of staples - both has chisel point to staple in well, and probably the 'soft' edges as well. But again, it does a solid job of stapling - the staple-ends are not loose at all, but set tightly against the paper - and all with an easy push down of the handle. UPDATE: I wonder about the many people who are talking about jamming; I haven't had one jam. Perhaps they're not using the correct staples. There are different thicknesses; a staple for more sheets needs to be thicker (besides longer). They recommended their brand of staples (Optima). Perhaps that's the issue. Also, I have found that sometimes, one leg of the staple is not totally against the paper, and since this stapler doesn't make the edges rounded - just bent up slightly towards the paper, you could perhaps get scratched. But most are against the paper well. (Flat is supposed to be an advantage, as it takes somewhat less space). THIS IS PERHAPS THE EASIEST HIGH CAPACITY STAPLER TO USE! Since the distance the handle has to travel from up to down is a few times that of others, it 'falls' giving more leverage; it somehow accomplishments better like that. It's very easy to staple; much easier than another brand I tried, or even another Swingline model. THANK YOU SWINGLINE, AND THANK YOU AMAZON - IT'S GREAT TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES TO HELP YOU GET WHAT YOU NEED!!! There are so many different kinds of tools and materials, and the fact that there are people working hard to see that these things happen, is great! Much appreciation!!!

Super easy to use...
This stapler is simply amazing... I know... it's just a stapler. The first time I used it, I thought it was broken and hadn't done anything... WRONG. There is such little effort in binding a stack of pages that it surprised me that it could be that easy. Just... WOW.

Words cannot describe how much I love this stapler!
I work in an office and I have to staple A LOT of paperwork. I have very thick packets that I have to staple and have tried so many staplers trying to find the right one that can handle 60 or 70 sheets without being too gigantic to fit on my desk. I have tried a few electric staplers. I was really excited about one but it kept jamming and was impossible to unjam because of the fact that it was electric. The manufacturer was nice to continually send new ones when this happened but eventually they stopped after four replacements and I gave up on the idea of an electric stapler. So I had to begin the search for yet another stapler and decided on a manual one this time. This stapler is THE STAPLER to beat ALL STAPLERS. Words cannot describe how much I love this stapler! It really does staple 60 sheets with ease (I counted). I have used it for about a month now and it has not jammed once yet. It looks nice on my desk and is extremely easy to use. When you use it there is a nice "springy" feeling to it as you push down on the top and release. Compared to the old cheap models that most people have which you have to press down hard on and can hurt your wrist after awhile, this is a really nice change. To refill the staples there is a button the end. You press it and the part to load staples immediately springs out, making it very easy to load the staples and then it pushes back in and clicks into place very easily. This might seem like too much detail and maybe I am a bit of a nerd, but I do spend most of my week in an office and try to find joy in the small things. This stapler brings me much joy while at work! The only negative thing I can say is that if you are stapling a smaller amount of paperwork (less than 3 pages), the staple is kind of loose and you have to press down on it a bit to get it to close a little better. Other than that I think this stapler is the one to outshine all other staplers!

Can handle a wide range of numbers of pages with perfect stapling each time. Stapling is effortless for smaller documents. Looks beautiful. I was so frustrated with the staplers in the copying room at work that I bought my own to handle larger documents.

Doesn't take standard pins and too big

Handle is flimsy plastic construction. Might be OK for occasional home use. Would not stand up to an office environment, IMO.
