Singing in a choir with a mask is pretty miserable— I breathe in the fabric and get lint in my mouth, it’s difficult to breathe deeply and quickly, and I’m constantly pulling the mask up or down to get it back into place. N95s (etc), while stiffer, restrict the air too much for me. So I went looking for a brace that would help improve the experience. After reading the reviews of this and other similar products, I decided to try this one, following the advice of a reviewer who cut out a portion of the device for better chin movement (a must for high sopranos!). Tip: take a lighter to the cut edges to smooth out any jagged edges. Instant and dramatic improvement! I posted some pictures, including my face, so you can better assess if your features are compatible with the design (notice my prominent chin). I’ve been tasked with buying and preparing enough for everyone in the choir now— it will be interesting to see how/if it works for them. The plastic does touch my nose, but after our 2 hour rehearsal it didn’t hurt. I could see it starting to hurt if I had to wear it all day but I don’t know. It is really lightweight, so my ears didn’t hurt (any more than usual—in fact it was less, maybe because I didn’t have to fiddle with my mask at all). I do not like to wear mask that lay on your face. I suffer from anxiety and feel like I can’t breathe. I was excited to receive these that had the frame to keep away from your face and was truly excited. Once I received them even with the instructions I could not get the frame to fit properly within the mask, never used any of them still sitting in the package

This non silicone mask bracket is a durable insert. I like it because it is the thinnest and lightest weight ones out there. I did not notice it on my face. However you need to be careful that it doesn't get crushed. This mask does not loop around the ears. But that is not necessary. From my experience using this both in the US and abroad, I have found out that the ends (are like oblong or flattened screws) clinging to the folds of a mask very well. This allows the mask to stay in place whether or not you're using the mask or have one side disengaged. I highly recommend this product.

I just received my 5 pack 3D face masks. I think this is a great product and with a little improvement in the design you may just have a five star product ! I ended up putting two together and secured them. The challenge is when you clip them to a folding mask and try to talk the hard plastic hits your chin back and forth very uncomfortable. Because the material mask expands when you talk there is just no way it stays in place. by attaching two together it allows the product to accommodate the movement of the mouth. Also, attaching two together it keeps a more comfortable distance of air flow between the plastic and the mouth or face.

This did not fit my face comfortably. It did a great job at keeping the mask from touching my mouth, but it dug into the bridge of my nose and was kinda painful. After taking if off an indentation was left on my nose. Maybe if this was made out of silicon it would be tolerable… I was interested in the product for using a mask to sing, since singing with a standard mask is unpleasant due to the mask becoming saturated quickly with condensation and then sticking to my face.

I've purchased two others that didn't work as well. This one is a little bit harder to insert, but well worth the time. It will stay in place once you have it in place. It makes breathing so much easier & very light weight. Love these mask brackets. Would definitely recommend & buy again.

I’ve bought quite a few boxes over the past few months and had given some to friends to try out! Friends found them to be excellent! They are light weight, really comfortable, easy to slip into a mask, allows you to talk & breath, and so easy to clean! I wear them once or twice and change it out! They are durable too! Love this product & highly recommend it to anyone! 👍
