Well made but not for me too stiff and uncomfortable for me but highly recommend if you are truly looking for a working boot around the horse stables that are still pretty and flashy just not for me but the Quality and leather workmanship are superb.

Just unboxed these gems. I wear a 9-9-1/2 shoe depending on the activity. This are a true 9 fit. Just a tad snug at the toe box on my right foot (which is wider than my left) which is fine because they will mold to my foot well. They have a pungent new-leather smell that I know will fade as I let them breathe. Looking them over, they are well made. The stitching is precise. The detail is really nice (I zoomed in a couple pics). The heel is comfortable. They are a little stiff and a smidge slippery on smooth surfaces (as expected). I’m looking forward to wearing them in. I’m going to really like these boots!

Received these boots from my wonderful husband for Christmas and was thrilled! Had my eye on these since last summer and had them on my wish list! Absolutely gorgeous and the quality is excellent! Loved the look on the online photo but the pic doesn't do them justice. Fit great, and I can tell these are going to be a very comfy boot! I was also pleasantly surprised that the heel was a little lower than the photo. I have two other pairs of Western boots from other manufacturers and I love them...but these are my favs thus far. The only complaint I have is that I live in a northern climate and there is a lot of salt and sand around so I will be limited for the time being in wearing them outside!. Come on Spring!(Oh, just want to add that I normally wear a 9 and one-half M, which I ordered, and these fit just fine with a little slip in the heel as they should)

I fell in love with these but they do not come in 5 1/2. The show salesman’s said they run large he buys 1 full size down. Perfect advice. They are beautiful, comfortable and well made boots. They just don’t come small enough so I had return

These boots are even more stunning in person! Extremely comfortable and easy to pull on and take off unlike other brands I've purchased. I agree they run a little large, as I wear a 6 and its their smallest size but I wanted them so badly I decided to pull the trigger. So very glad I did. With a pair of sock they are perfect. Also, for girls like me with larger calves, no worries they give you plenty of room in the shaft of these boots. Highly, highly recommend these absolutely gorgeous boots!

Many years ago, I had relatively cheap boots that were perfect in every way. I hiked in the mountains of New Mexico in them. When their original soles wore out, my not yet husband gifted me a better than original resoling by the best boot repair guy in Nashville. Eventually, the leather upper wore through and those boots were no more. Since then, I have spent too much money trying to get that lucky again and have several pairs of cheap (under $100) boots I don't wear. I miss boots I love so I researched and found Dan Post boots were made like I wanted and these boots in particular pushed all my esthetic buttons. Amazon had the best price - $100 less than I would pay at the nearest retailer- and a known, excellent return policy should they not fit like expected. Reviews are my friend so I knew to order my regular shoe size to have room for thicker socks and arch supports, if I needed them. These fit perfectly out of the box. They are flexible without being worryingly thin. The insoles have good support and feel wonderful, even after a long work day. They are more beautiful than the photos with excellent workmanship (Mexican bookmakers are the bomb) and the colors are soft, yet distinctive. Of course, I have white hair streaked with teal blue, green and purple so color doesn't scare me like it does others. These are neutral, everyday boots for me! Bottom line is 5 stars, A+, do recommend.

I love Dam Post boots. They have been my favorites for years, but this order contained two different sizes and two right boots. Someone must have received two left boots in the wrong sizes.

First off, let me say these boots are gorgeous! The leather and design itself is beyond any boot I've seen. however, the fit is very off. They go in so narrow on the bottoms in the middle that they cannot be walked in safely. I've had alot of cowboy boots and something isn't right about the soles/construction. They fit fine in the legs and everywhere else but just couldnt be walked in safely, it was too wobley. The construction of them on the bottom is the only reason I'm returning. I'm very sad they didn't work out, because the beautiful colors and bird design is just beyond gorgeous.

Absolutely beautiful Dan Post boots - really comfortable cushioned insoles, easy to pull on and off. They look great with a dress or jeans. They run true to size. I am a UK size 4 so I got the US size 6.

Ive been hoping for a pair of boots for 2 years now, and this Christmas my wait come to an end. These boots are to comfortable to wear, there are no gaps, and the soles are cushioned!! They are stunning, and the stitching if perfect. Dan Post boots are quality boots. They will last me for years
