DS18 IXS12.4D Shallow Car Subwoofer - 12" 1600W MAX Power, 800W RMS, Dual Voice Coil, 4+4 Ohms Impedance (1 Speaker)

I love this sub hooked it up as soon as I got it. And man this thing hits hard for a shallow mount it's a hard-hitting sub. It definitely does weigh quite a bit though.

I rock ds18 in all my vehicles. All my speakers. I love the brand…… These are bad. Sound really bad.

Sounds really good in my truck with the skar low profile box. Not too loud where it makes you jump a little. Hasn’t broke yet.

They look good they sound great in my truck with a thousand watt RMS amplifier really good for like punch style base not fantastic at hitting lows but great all around the Hertz range

Subs looked amazing and well put together, but performance was about a 4 out of 10 not impressed what so ever. My Skar shallow 10s (2) hit way harder and sound hell of a lot better for a lot less at that. Returned then with not even 2hrs of ownership. On paper the specs are perfect but sound quality didn’t even come close. 2 stars just because the appearance lol they are some pretty good looking subs, that’s about it.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased two of the subs in less than a week in two separate Audio installations the subs started making a rattling noise. Both systems were professionally installed with the RMS watt rating under the specified specs by representable company. I contacted DS 18 warranty department and notified them of the situation and was recommended to ship them in for testing. Of course, upon testing them they stated that they were burned due to amperage and power or installation, even though they were still somewhat functional. so now I’m out of $420 and no subs!!!

I’m already looking for a replacement, box got the shallow speakers because they’re not what I expected. Specially for how much they are worth each speaker pretty sure I’ll find a better set from the actual site not third party.
