Wonderful book to have for professionals seeking a better understanding of nutrition basics
I love this book. Very well written and illustrated. I’m an endocrinologist interested in lifestyle medicine and this book really hit the nail on the head for all things nutrition to me. I use it extensively in teaching nutrition to my residents and fellows, and it helped me personally refresh my knowledge on various nutrition topics and advance it in many areas too. Highly recommended.

Very informative
Important book for students who specialize in nutrition.

Too complicated for a self-taught reader!
This is super complicated for someone who doesn’t have deep chemistry formulas and names for such complicated “balance” (to put it nicely) in our bodies. If you are self taught but w/o the medical/chemistry knowledge do yourself a favour and do NOT buy this… it will collect dust (like mine does). I’d need a second university degree just to comprehend…
