Nelson-Rigg Stormrider Rain Suit

I was a little nervous ordering these after all what do you get for less than a hundred bucks these days? Very glad I did!!! To me they look like great value for the price. Here in Canada they cost me 80 bucks tax in. Since I am so obsessed with the quality/price/value ratio I spent forever googling rain gear. It was worth the time. I lucked out with the medium size. Fits me perfect with a little room to spare for a jacket. Yes, like some of the reviews, the pants might be a little tricky to get on and the lower leg zipper can catch if your not careful but definitely not deal breakers. You just have to go slow when putting the pants on. Nice vibrant orange color on the jacket. I rolled up each one and then stuffed it in a sock for tighter packing. Seems like that might work? It looks to me like all the seams are sewn nice. Have to say after close inspection I could not find anything bad about these. I once did ten hours in pouring rain without rain gear. It was uh...memorable... not any more now!!!!! Hopefully I will never need to use them! To me they feel like if taken care of they could last a long time. I can tell already I will be buying more Nelson-Rigg products soon. Next.... rear fender bag! : )

Heute bei dem wechselhaften Wetter getestet und 100% dicht und es flattert nichts, 50 km im Regen gefahren, zufrieden.

Worked great at keeping me dry on a 200 mile rain ride. 80 or so miles were heavy rain. The only complaints are they are quite toasty in 73 degree weather, riding gear was wet with sweat but better than being soaked by rain. Also the collar Velcro is a little wonky and attached itself to my helmet multiple times over the weekend. Will be creating a cover piece of Velcro to help with this.They fit true to size meaning if you wear medium pants and large jacket get a large suit. This is a really good suit with high quality seems, zippers, and Velcro. It keeps you dry in the rain except for the sweat underneath. Would definitely recommend.

Can’t get a better set for the money, I love the high vis orange with generous retro reflective stripes. Easy to get into over my Dainese jacket and pants.
