Incredible value - performance well exceeds the price
Wow. This club is amazing. Played nine holes today. Hit a few shots with this club around the green and in a bunker and I was blown away by the performance - especially at this price point. It is easy to hit regardless of the lie. Got me out of a bunker in one shot (normally takes me 2 or 3). Nice high trajectory with a soft landing. Golf is an expensive sport, but this club is great value. I may buy the rest of the wedges!

Put the work in, Reap the rewards
I have difficulty with high-lofted, soft-landing wedge shots around the green. Especially when Iโm pitching from a short side approach, trying to gently let it roll out and tuck it close.Iโve tried everything with my 56ยฐ & 60ยฐ wedges, obviously using opened faces of various degrees. Iโm just not good enough to be consistent.Until now. This is an excellent club for exactly the instances just described. The exaggerated loft at 68ยฐ is perfect. Iโve seen other lofts at 69ยฐ, 70ยฐ and 72ยฐ, but thought this would be ideal for me.And it has proven to be.Please note:Donโt just assume it will perform like your other wedges. As you can clearly see in the photos, it has no bounce. You have to practice with it. Practice, practice, then practice a little more. Put it in various lies and at various turf conditions & heights. This thing is like a razor. Itโs great for really tight lies, so obviously, if your ball is sitting up nicely but you need to clear a bunker, give it some gas. Otherwise it will cut cleanly underneath your ball and it will sail maybe two feet. Also, itโs worth a try in the bunker. But DONโT open the face!!! Youโll never get out otherwise. Just swing like a normal wedge shot regarding direction - and maybe tighten your entry point a tad.All in all, itโs a great addition to the bag. But if I had to cut down to 14 for a particular round or event, Iโm not entirely sure which one to sacrifice.

Well made club, price is right to try it out or just for fun, but ultimately the 68 degree version is a gimmick for on course
I have the 68 degree version. It's hard to fault pine meadow for this, but ultimately a 68 degree wedge is just a gimmick. The number of useful shots you can hit with this club over the course of a round is very minimal. Because of the extreme loft, distance control with it is nearly impossible. I found myself wanting to hit down on the ball more, which, at that point, you might as well just hit a 64 or 60 degree wedge. The grip was kind of plastic-y with not a lot of tackiness. That being said, this is the right price for a club like this. I think it was worth what I paid, just for the novelty and fun factor. I occasionally play a par 3 course and I bring it to that. I also end up sometimes using it to practice with when my ball striking with my other wedges gets off. Because this club is so sensitive to ball striking up and down on the face , it really allows you to hone in and cut down on fat/thin shots with your other wedges if you practice hitting shots with this club.

A great life saver for under $50
This club has exceeded my expectations by a landslide. To be honest, the price had me concerned, but it has saved me quite a number of times on the course. Out of high lipped bunkers or hitting off of dirt and brush on the side near an OB area is where this club really shines well. I even let my partner use it whenever he is in a deep bunker and it has saved him every time. Literally no 2 strokes in the bunker anymore. The high loft is ridiculous compared to a SW which you would think a few degrees more, (in this case 6 degrees more loft since I am using the 60 degree wedge) would not be so different, but it arches so high in the air that sometimes you think it won't come back down. I have yet to master this club with chipping and even approach shots come short due to how much loft and less yardage this club gets, however, in tough situations like clearing a bunker, in the bunker, over water streams or out of junky lie conditions I will reach for this club every time because it is so forgiving with its high loft, I think you would have to try to top the ball with this club.

Great feel around the green
This is my first ever customer review on anything, ever. I feel compelled to write one because this club has gotten me really excited about my golf game.I've been golfing off an on for about 15 years. Never had a lesson, never had properly fitted clubs, so I'm clearly not taking things too seriously. I'm a bogey golfer on the best of days and generally hit low 90's. Recently I bought the Pinemeadow PRE set, which has performed admirably in spite of my hack golfer status, but after a few rounds I began to realize that my problem wasn't getting to the green so much as it was getting on and closing out holes once I got to within about 50-60 yards. Enter my search for a gap wedge that could help me out, because I got tired of often taking 4+ shots to finish out holes and leaving with unsatisfying double bogeys (or worse.) I needed more control around the green, and my 48 degree pitching wedge wasn't doing the trick.I went with the 60 degree option because some of the reviews said 68 was just plain silly, and I'm glad I did. It gets plenty of loft and settles nicely. On a full swing I can get it about 70 yards, but it's very easy to hit and taking a little off it was no problem at all. It's even better around the green. I've only played one round with it so far, so yes, small sample size, but I can tell it's going to shave a few strokes. To wit, on my front nine while I was still adjusting to it, I shot a 45 and ended up with two three-putts and seven two-putts, more or less on par with where I always am. The back nine I started getting a better feel for the wedge and how much power to put on swings, and I ended up shooting a 38. Now obviously there are other factors going into that, as I had two decent iron shots that put me pretty close to the pin and I didn't even need to chip. Also a few cans of swing lube at the turn probably loosened me up, but in any event, I had five (!) one-putts and four two-putts. I used the wedge on almost every chip shot except where it was better to do a little more bump and run style chip, and I was able to put it <10 feet on just about all of them. That was pretty significant and something I had never been able to do before. It felt good knowing I could swing pretty aggressively and not worry about blasting it 40 feet past the hole. I didn't have to baby those short chips, which used to lead to me barely hitting the ball and not even getting it on the green. Hitting over bunkers and hills was much more manageable. Thankfully I didn't have to hit out of any bunkers, but my buddy did and used the club and said it was nice to take a good hard swing at the ball and pop it right out.By the end of the round my confidence around the green had increased tremendously and I wanted to go out and play another round right then and there. I don't expect to shoot 38 every time, but if the wedge can save me a stroke or two per round, for ~$25 that's totally worth it in my book. The club looks great, feels great, and has seemingly instantly filled a hole in my game. If you struggle around the green, you need a nice high lofted wedge. If you're like me and don't want to drop tons of money on a nice high lofted wedge, then this club is perfect for you.
