As described works well. No issues in my 1997 Suburban

no matter how universal you may think something is, it's not always.
As it turns out this cannot be mounted in my 2015 Chevy High Country. - the sound deadening in the floo, under the carpet is such that I'd doo considerable damage installing this mount. and there is no good way to install the Mobotron in my truck because of the way the seats are mounted to the floor, so I currently have an extremely expensive paperweight in the shop.
