WhT is the different of PG 58 and PG 48

The Shure PG48 is a unidirectional dynamic microphone that has a frequency response tailored for vocals. It is intended for live use, studio recording, and broadcasting applications and it has a cardioid pattern to ensure high gain before feedback and good rejection of off-axis sound. The PG48 costs less than Shure's hugely popular PG58 vocal microphone, however it shares many of the same attributes, making it an attractive option to singers on a budget.The mic has the same durable build as its sibling the PG58, with a steel mesh grille and tough chassis, and it comes with a carry pouch and stand adaptor. It is available with or without a switch and has a shock-mounted capsule that works well to reduce handling noise. The mic has an attenuated proximity effect to stop low frequencies getting too overpowering, which makes it a good choice for live spoken word applications, and its integrated pop-filter does a good job at stopping excessive plosive sounds. The PG48 has a less forward and rich sound when compared to an PG58 that may not make it the first choice for all lead singers; however it will certainly work well for backing singers. Scott, Sorry to say I'm not familiar with the pScott, Sorry to say I am not familiar with the PG48 so I can not answer your question. I will say that the PG58 delivers a distortion free response to the spoken word, but that is not how we use them normally.

does it come with one or two microphone?

when i ordered this microphone....it came with one mic and one cable...for the money this is the best mic you can use when playing music on stage . It is a constant gigging mic...goes thru all sorts of handling without being affected...THIS IS THE MIC TO USE for home studios and stage , if your budget is average...plenty of greater mic's but so is the price....in short I use this mic almost everyday for at least 50 years...
