What size of water bottle fits in the sides?

A standard 32oz Nalgene bottle will not fit That’s my only complaint about the bag. . I’ve carried a 21oz hydro flask bottle, a standard 16oz water bottle, and a 1L polar seltzer bottle in it. The seltzer bottle was a tight fit though.
