Last year I looked all across the internet for this planner. There was nothing in sight on Amazon, Ebay or in my local retail stores. I ended up settling for a pseudo leather blue sky one with a ribbon to mark my place. Don't even get me started on ribbons. That's why I love the Five Star Planner; it has the perforated corners, so that I can easily find my place. The weeks are spread out with a good number of lines on each day for different assignments and tasks, while allowing me to see the entire week and see what is due later rather than finding out the day of, which is a problem with planner that make each day take up a whole page. There's no leather casing and the spiral is covered so that you're not playing with it and twisting it out of shape when you're bored. Additionally, there's a pencil holder for you to use; personally, I'll never use it, but it's a nice little option for those that will. In the back there's the stock planner pages filled with formulas, the periodic table of elements, geography, etc... There's a place for your information in the front in case it gets lost and can be returned. In the end, this is my favorite planner and it's at a good cost when compared to the competition and given that Five Star makes quality products. I'll be purchasing another one of these next year and I suggest that you do as well. Edit: I'll update this more if I come across defects.
