E-Case iSeries iPod/iPhone 5 Case with Jack

Very secure. The triple zip lock feature is easy and awssome .and keeps everything nice an dry while at the beach or pool

When I originally ordered this product from Amazon, they sent me the case for the iPhone 4 (I ordered the one for the iPhone 5). For some reason Amazon's return process didn't work for me and I was stuck with a case I could not use. I gave the product one star review.The company then contacted me directly to rectify the situation. They sent me an iPhone5 case and asked for me to update this review. I am very happy they contacted me and sent me the correct product. Clearly the E-Case pays attention to customer service. They have turned an unhappy customer into a happy one.The case itself is quite good. It is very much as described: durable and rugged. I will be using it for taking my phone to the beach and camping and no longer worry about damaging it. You could bury your phone in the sand, or drop it in the ocean, and it would be perfectly protected in this case. Recommended.

I wish I had spend a few more dollars on a decent case. This case did not survive a quick (5 minute) dip in the ocean.

I bought this at REI for my Android Phone, and I haven't used it yet. Some notes so far:o it was $20 on sale at REI and $27 not on sale at REI, both cheaper prices than here.o it looks like the seal is sturdy enough to keep my phone dry when kayaking if it falls into the water.o you definitely can use the side buttons and the touch screen through the clear plastic.o I don't know why the package says "iPhone". It would work with any phone.o The clear plastic lets you see the whole screen. I don't know why it doesn't look that way in the picture at Amazon.o There are holes in the case at two corners so you can attach it to something if you want. Obviously a good idea.o Packaging is horrible. An empty cardboard box is attached to the two holes with unbreakable nylon straps. In order to get the strap off I had to use scissors, and despite my best efforts, ended up cutting the case on one of the corners.The reason for the 3 star rating is the packaging. What fools would design a product for the purpose of keeping something dry, then package it in a manner that you have to use scissors to remove the packaging, thus potentially damaging the product and making it useless.

This is the ideal case for skiing. First of all, it fit my iPhone 5s while still in its hard case, which was a must for me. Note that my hard case is a slimline type, not an Otterbox style. So this avoided the hassle of switching cases - I could just drop my phone into this one as is. It was also easy to get in and out, which can be an issue with these waterproof cases sometimes. I've had a bunch of them and this is by far the best in terms of ease of use, and also the nicest in terms of style. I love the light weight and slim profile of this case. It doesn't have the bulky hard plastic clamp that others do, which makes it much easier to carry inside a jacket. I put it on a lanyard and attached it via audio cable to my ski helmet, and it worked a treat. It protected my phone from the snow perfectly, and the audio jack was very handy. I haven't yet tried it for swimming, so I can't speak to its effectiveness when fully submerged in water, but this is hands down the best case for skiing that I have found.

This case worked very well for my trip to the beach. Kept my phone dry and out of the sand. The little cord inside which is supposed to let you use your earplug jack was annoying since I was not using the jack, the cord is not very flexible and it was hard to get it to stay where I thought the plug would not scratch my phone. I was able to take photos thru the case which turned out very well. You can use your phone, the screen will respond to your touch. My only complaint is not with the product, but with the seller's packaging. The case comes with a cardboard display card behind it. The seller had wrapped a sticky clear tape around this cardboard and stuck it to the front of the product. The adhesive from this tape marred the clear plastic on the front of the case. It left marks that I was unable to remove. Consequently, it was not as clear as it should have been, to see the phone screen through it, especially in the sunlight. Luckily, the back was not impacted, so the camera had a clear surface to shoot through. I did not have time to return the product before my trip, or I might have considered it.

I like this case. I was looking for a waterproof running case to use with my iPhone 5 and this worked great. The iPhone 5 fits perfectly (my iPhone 6 does not) and the jack worked fine. I used a Velcro strap from another case through the slots so I can carry it in my hand while walk/running. I also use this case in the bath ... the strap is useful here too.As far as the waterproofness ... I don't know. I would never use this kind of case in a pool to film underwater. The zip system is odd ... there isn't a lot of tactile feedback that it is closed. When I trap air inside the case and push on it, it doesn't deflate, so I'd trust it with an accidental water drop, but nothing more. The plastic that forms the clear window is very odd ... it seems extremely thin but touch ... much easier to use the phone through than other "sticky" vinyl cases I've used.Overall, pretty good and I hope I can find a larger size appropriate for my new phone.
