if you wash CPAP equipment with soap & water, you want this dryer
Cleaning CPAP equipment (mask & hose) is somewhat of a daily hassle but pretty mandatory if you're going to follow manufacturer guidelines. Washing everything in a sink with warm, soapy water is no big deal, but waiting for everything to dry off is a pain, especially since the interior of the hose may not be dry before you need to use it again. This Hurricane dryer really solves that problem. The Hurricane arrives very well boxed to guard against shipping damage. It is fully assembled, and the only thing you need to do is remove some tape and protective foam in a few areas. The lid of the Hurricane is transparent and opens easily. There is a wire basket into which you place all of your CPAP accessories to dry. There is a single port to attach one end of the CPAP hose to dry it inside. The dryer is big enough that I can fit my hose, mask parts, headgear, and humidifier tub into it to dry. Operation is easy. There is a single power button to turn it off/on. The dryer starts immediately when you turn on the power, and you can set the drying time to 15, 30, or 60 minutes by pressing another button. The dryer turns itself off at the end of the selected cycle. It's worth noting that Siestamed markets two different models of Hurricane dryer. This one is the model most users would buy, but their other model is larger and has 4 hose ports. If you wash your CPAP accessories with soap and water, you will definitely want and love this dryer. It's a great way to get your equipment fully dry before you need to use it again. The only negative is this dryer is quite expensive for the basic function it provides. But if you dislike waiting for your equipment to dry after washing, the Hurricane will be worth its high price.

Now You Can Thoroughly Dry Your CPAP Hose!
Recently I purchased The Hurricane CPAP Equipment Dryer. I am thrilled with this purchase. Although it is a little pricey, it is so worth it. I am FINALLY able to fully dry my CPAP hoses and other equipment. In 45 minutes, my hose is ready to use. I do not have to wait (and hope) for days that it dries over the towel bar in the bathroom! It is a really good size, approximately 12" in height, 12" in width, and 13" 1/2 in length, able to accommodate one hose, face mask, head piece and/ or some connections. No need to over pack the dryer since it works so well, I can dry any equipment I have washed in less than two hours. Yes, you still need to wash your equipment, but now I can dry and pack things away. It comes with a stainless-steel basket and a one-year warranty. The description states two drying ports, which is not correct- there is only one drying port. If you are like me, with two hoses, you just need to use it through two drying cycles. There are three timer settings. You can choose 15, 30, or 60 minutes. It is quiet, although it does take up some room on your counter. After drying my CPAP equipment, I put mine away in the box to keep it clean. I feel so confident now that all my CPAP equipment is completely dry after cleaning. The Hurricane CPAP Equipment Dryer is the best way to dry your CPAP Equipment!

Best invention EVER!
I just got my cpap about a week ago and had looked into ultraviolet cleaning, etc. but wasn't satisfied with the cost or the reported results. Having just had pneumonia a couple months ago (prior to cpap use), I am ultra concerned about what goes into my lungs so I choose to clean my cpap supplies daily with mild soap as well as a weekly soak in a vinegar/water solution but do not want any lingering water in my tube or my lungs! This machine is perfect for me! Every morning I wash my supplies with mild soap (I use Palmolive Clean and Clear - I tried Dr Bronner's because it came highly recommended for cpap cleaning and it left an oily film on everything - it's going back!) Anyway, once my supplies are clean, I pop them in the Hurricane and they are dry in as little as 30 minutes but I usually run it the full hour (+10 for warm up) just to be sure. I know I just started with cpap but, in my opinion, this is the best if you want to have daily clean and DRY cpap supplies and know you will not be getting water in your lungs OR in your cpap machine. Highly, highly recommended. I did give it a 5 for cost however I think for what it actually is, a fancy blow dryer, it could be a little less expensive. That being said, I'd probably pay more for it just for the convenience. It takes days, even here in dry, hot Arizona, for a cpap tube to fully dry and to buy multiple tubes and have them hanging around all the time, was not a solution I cared for. If you use cpap, this is one of the least expensive and most convenient ways to go and it is very quiet when running as well. I say, GO FOR IT!!! Happy sleeping everyone!

The best (possibly the only) cpap equipment dryer on the market, and it works like a charm
This is a godsend. No more swinging 6' long hoses in a vain attempt to dry them; no more hanging hoses in hopes they will dry on their own. Included port inside unit makes it easy to plug the hose in firmly so the warm air circulates the entire length of the hose. Plenty of room for reservoir, lid, seal, and mask. Cpap equipment is dry when I need it; no more musty smell from being damp all day.

Works perfectly!
This dryer does exactly what it’s intended to do. Right out of the box I just removed the taped styrofoam and began to use it (did not clean the unit first). I cleaned and rinsed my CPAP mask, hose, and chamber and placed them in the Hurricane dryer as instructed and set the time for 1 hour. Everything came out perfectly dry. I have to admit, it’s a bit pricey for a dryer but so worth it. My hose took days to get all the droplets out when hang drying, and now this Hurricane dryer does it an hour or less. My equipment also feels much cleaner after dried in the unit.
