Ibarra sweet chocolate laced with cinnamon and covered in coarse sugar. A Novamex product. MEXICAN CHOCOLATE Serve your Mexican Chocolate with churros! INGREDIENTS 3.3 oz tablet of Mexican chocolate 2-1/2 cups milk 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon INSTRUCTIONS To make Mexican hot chocolate, break tablet of Mexican chocolate into pieces and bring it to a simmer with milk. Stir the mixture until the chocolate is melted and well-combined. Mexican chocolate is traditionally beaten to a froth with a wooden implement called "molinillo". You can imitiate the effect by putting a small amount of your chocolate at a time in a blender and briefly pulsing it. Review: Mexican chocolate - If you like a full bodied chocolate, it's wonderful. Real Hot Chocolate!
You can grate this chocolate into a powder and stir it into hot milk. Sweet enough to leave out the marshmallows, if you like. Just grate about two wedges worth from the six-sided chocolate disk and mix into 8 - 12 oz of hot milk. Stir until completely melted and dissolved. Mmmm mmmm! Real hot chocolate! If you want cocoa, use cocoa powder and sugar or sweetner.

Best ever Hot Chocolate! and affordable too.
Ibarra spiced hot chocolate rocks my world. The wedges of chocolate are not meant for the microwave. Making hot chocolate is a loving process of anticipation. I have lived on the East Coast all of my life. On a visit to the West Coast many years ago I was introduced to Ibarra hot chocolate. I never had spiced hot chocolate before and now I can't do without. Since then, the only thing I ask my W.C. relatives for every visit or Christmas gift, or Birthday gift is Ibarra Hot Chocolate. When I get home I get my pot, my wooden spoon, start heating the milk. I break up the chocolate and drop in the pieces and stir. With a cup of Spiced Ibarra Hot Chocolate in hand, I start the rest of my day.
