Best Little Step Counter for Those Who Wear Belts
I have been wearing these Omron Pedometers for years. They are amazingly durable, and you can replace the battery. I've had one fall off my belt in the garden and found it a day or so later, still working. They are accurate in counting steps and have an adjustment if they start to count too many or too few. Try for 10,000 steps a day and the calorie counter won't matter! You can also see how far you went yesterday and the day before that, and the day before that, and so on. Great buy!

I use it every day
There a lot of pedometers out there but this one has all the features that I need and more! I like this one because it closes - the pedometers with the open faces I don't even understand why someone would buy them. If you lean against something you end up losing all your data!.I like the fact that it keeps 7 days of data. I generally track daily but still handy to have. This pedometer also has a clock, which I didn't think I would ever need because I usually have my phone or watch with me but it has actually come in handy quite a few times. My other pedometers would never outlast the battery - usually something would break on them - usually the belt clip - but I have actually had to buy a new battery for my Omron! I bought 2 Omron b/c I thought I would go through 1 quickly - to my surprise I'm still using the 1st one. The only bad aspect of this Pedometer is you really do need a lanyard for it. The clip is not strong enough. I put a lanyard that I had from an old busted Pedometer. I would have lost this one 20 times by now without it!

Threw away $15.76
The pedometer arrive held prisoner in a difficult-to-open plastic cell -- what are these "packaging engineers" thinking? It took me ten minutes and two ruined fingernails to open it, and then I took the scissors to it, and the hard packaging almost broke them! But I was thrilled. A handsome object, thought I, and I loved the clip in the back that you pinch to open. So much better than having to wrestle it down over a soft waistband. I yanked out the plastic battery protector and set to work to rev the thing up to speed. But, alas, it would not follow instructions as they were written. "Press and hold the Set button. Hour display blinking." (Could they not have said, "The hour display will blink"? I pressed. "Press Memory button to adjust the hour." I did. The Memory button never did a thing. So I asked a friend of mine to try and he had no luck either. We both tried several combinations of maneuvers, but nothing worked. To this moment, the hour display is blinking, blinking, blinking.I'd like to get my money back, but ya know what? J & R Music & Computer World in NY demand such a rigamarole to send it back, including with all the original packaging (I threw the OP in the trash), that you almost have to be a genius in packaging to follow their instructions, which, of course, are not designed to benefit the consumer but to benefit only themselves. Now I'm afraid this pedometer will follow its packaging into the trash, while I will make sure I never order from J&R again.

Omron HJ-105 Pedometer
I have had many different pedometers but this is my favorite. I have been wearing mine for over 2 years with no problems. Had to replace the battery but that is normal. I had it hooked on to my bathing suit while doing my yard and forgot and got in the pool. I went to the store and bought a different Omron Pedometer but I did not like it near as well. I was upset with myself and ordered 3 more just incase I did something like this again. I love how you can adjust it to your exact steps and the way it stores your information for 7 days. I love the size of it and it works great if I attach it to my waistband or put it in my pocket.

Not Accurate for Running
I thought this had a heart monitor. SMALL Display. The Calorie Burnt Counter is Kcal vs regular calories. I ran on the treadmill and compared my Calories burned and Distance and it was VERY OFF! Overall the pedometer said I only burned 83 kcal I ran for 30 mins and walked for 15 mins = 45 mins total in which the treadmill stated I burned 400 Calories. You must also calculate the kcal according to your age, but my results did not come close to the treadmill measurements. Dissapointed. I bought this because of the reviews on how accurate it is. But it's not. Have you compared it to something else? a bike or a treadmill?
