Great for my edrums
Bought these for myself Roland electronics drums. They sound great and the price was excellent. They’re very comfortable and isolate enough for me to hear the drums well. And the extra long cord is a plus. Very happy with my purchase.

Close, but no cigar.
I would have expected better from Audio Technica. I had to reinforce the headphones with zip ties and gorilla tape to get them to stay together and fit. I also had to purchase. A mono to stereo adapter. And an in-line volume control. The sound is good.

With the faux leather ear pads.. things get hot.
It's a decent pair of headphones as far as weight goes. It also has a self adjusting headband which is a plus. The 2 things that make these 3 stars for me, is the cord while flexible, you can't swap it out if it develops a short. As anyone can tell you with headphones, what normally happens? cord is normally the first thing to go b/c it develops a short somewhere along the cable. So this is annoying. The other thing that gets me is the faux leather ear pads... as I've used more headphones, I've come to realize what I appreciate more-WHAT works better. The leather ear pads, while they do cover my ears just fine. They are too hot.As far as I can tell, I can't even buy a different set of ear cushions... ?The sound quality ironically enough does seem to be better than my 'Philips Fidelio X2HR', which honestly surprised me. I guess it's the "sharpness" of the audio, it just seems slightly better. For the price, it's an "ok" pair of headphones. But it could be a lot better with a couple of tweaks.*UPDATE* Dec 27 2023I wanted to give an update on these headphones. The "Wrap" around the cord, leading to the headphones, the junction right where the cord goes into the headphones. That "extra" wrap around the cord, developed a split... and not too long afterwords, the headphones developed a electrical or grounding "short" of some sort.I've only owned these headphones for slightly over a year. (1 year and 5 months roughly).I've taken care of these headphones, to the best of my ability. Even modded the earphones with upgraded material... & so it's a real bummer to deal with this.

If you own those cheap rgb gaming headsets, this is an amazing upgrade.
I used to own a Bengoo rgb gaming headset and it is trash compared to this one. However, is the ATH-AVC200 gonna blow you out of the water? no. Its $30, but its amazing for a $30 headset. I would say that it is one of the best, if not the best $30 headset. The sound quality is great and consistent. My main complain would be the swivel on the ear cups. It keeps on swiveling outward when you dont want to and feels more like a bug than a feature. Overall it is a great headset. If you're someone who's coming from those cheap $15-$30 rgb headset and looking for a budget upgrade headset for listening to music, watching videos, and gaming. I would highly recommend this to you. If you're someone who already owns something like Razer Kraken or similar, or someone looking for a studio headset, I suggest you check out the ATH-M30x or 50x.

Amazing Sound for $24
I love music, and I have good low frequency hearing and moderate high frequency hearing and in the past have not been satisfied with the lower frequency end and sometimes the high frequency end of head sets. I just got through testing these and as a test I listened to "Help I'm Alive" by Metric which has some very low synthesized bass that is challenging for most speakers. These head phones pulled it off without a hitch, gloriously clean deep bass and perhaps somewhat bright but relatively uncolored highs. I expect sound like this out of a $350 pair of headsets but I sure as hell wasn't expecting it for $24. Kudos Audio-Technica!

This product is not worth the $30 price tag. The sound quality is flat and not suitable for music listening. I don't understand why it has received so many positive reviews. Any cheap earphones that came with your phone or tablet would perform much better. The only positive thing is its long wire length (~10ft).
