We have been using this pumice in our tooth powder for a few years. Our dentist said that whatever we have been doing to keep it up! We mix it with several recommended powdered herbs (including Stevia to make it sweet) and have had excellent results. We also use homemade tooth sticks from pine and dogwood trees. Much better than plastic brushes.
