Awesome so far.
Costco boneless thigh meat. (comes in 6 pack, 3 packs fit on two of these)Put packs in huge bowl of cold water. Replace cold water very 15 min or so and they defrost really really quick if you had frozen in freezer or still slightly frozen from Costco. Make sure all of it is defrosted and same temperature for safe and even cooking.Start preheating oven to 450F.Open and wash/rinse the chicken in cold water in the bowl a couple of times. Dont bother with the chunks of fat.Drain water, get all water out of bowl.Add your favorite seasoning and spices but make sure to include a little oil(Canola is good) to make cleaning rack easier.By time oven is preheated you have a decent quick marinate.Place chicken smooth side up on grates (so fat and water can drain and wont pool on top)Place these racks on foil covered baking sheets/pans to catch all the oil.Cook for 30minutes. (temp was over 165F with probe, so could have taken out earlier, but chicken was still very juicy) (did 45 minutes at 400F first time though maybe needed extended time because i opened twice to check temps, going to try 500F at 20 min next)Cleaning was much easier when i added a tiny bit of Canola oil to seasoning second time around. (Cooking 3 packs on two racks on one row of oven each time)Just run under hot water and use rough side of plastic sponge(not steel wool) to wipe away. Took about 3-4 minutes each rack. Towel dried after. No effort, no mess, fool proof, delicious chicken every time. Only done a couple of times, am not a real cook. But great chicken for different meals all week.

Don't get some of these reviews - GREAT item for the price!
NO, this is not a "restaurant quality" rack! What do you expect for SIX DOLLARS,with free Prime shipping? LOL!I bought 2 of these for drying jerky in the oven. My old racks had the rails toofar apart - no "grid" to hold the meat in place. These work PERFECTLY for this!Or for cooling your cookies or pie.Is the construction perfect? Of course it's not PERFECT. But who cares? For usingit as a cooling rack for baking or for drying jerky in the oven, it's PERFECT. Andfor six dollars and change, with free shipping via Prime - I could not have askedfor more and am totally happy with these racks. I should add they fit a cookie sheetperfectly - great for my jerky making.Great product great price - restaurant commercial NASA grade? No. But does anyonereally seriously expect that for SIX DOLLARS? :-)

Multi-purpose rack!
I purchased this rack to go with a large cookie sheet that I purchased. I think the intention for this is to cool baked goods. I actually purchased this to use when baking/broiling meats like bacon, steak and also heavy fish like salmon. This way, any oil drips right off into the pan and the bottom cooks well. This is fantastic for bacon. We purchase bacon at the butcher shop, thick sliced, and I can fit 11 slices on it - great for making extra to crumble on salads, or feeding more people.I also use this with towels underneath to catch oil from when I occasionally use my deep fryer to cook chicken. I sit the chicken on it and let any oil drip off.I purchased both the rack and the extra large cookie sheet on Amazon. The only issue I have is that the rack fits perfectly on top of the sheet, but slides off because both are so smooth. I thought perhaps the rack would be able to sit inside the cookie sheet but the sheet is too deep. But I deal with it - it works quite well for me.

Just What I Needed for My Cakes!
This is a great cooling rack! I would ask around for one,but could never find one to my satisfaction! So I went on Amazon.com, and they had some really great looking cooling racks! I did my research on what to do in learning how to do a 2-layer cake, and so a cooling rack was required. The price was okay, and I received in from the mailman in person. Thank you for being there when I need stuff! You are really universal when shopping for what you can't find elsewhere! This wonderful cooling rack was just what I needed for making cakes! Even my precious sister was was happy and delighted that I got it!

has worked perfectly for a year.
For some reason this is one of my favorite things in my kitchen. I store mine on top of the toaster oven, since it fits on top perfectly and even looks nice. I put it on the counter when my cornbread fresh out of the oven needs to come out of the pan and cool. People complain that it isn't commercial quality and might rust. I'm not a commercial enterprise, so I can only say it has worked really well in my private kitchen for the past year. And has never rusted. Or bent or anything. It is a good as the day it came to me.

Multfunctional!
I love baking with this rack. I will bake chicken in a pan, then place the chicken on this rack on top of the same pan, and Bam! I have crispy chicken that is not dry. I also use this rack for crisping up breakfast pizza that I make at home. I bake the 'dough'(just eggs and cheese) on a pizza pan, then take it out of the oven, put the sausage crumbles and salsa and more cheese on the dough. Stick the whole thing on the rack and it gets golden brown on the bottom and crispy on the top!

Not Commercial Quality!
This item is nowhere near "Commercial Quality" as described. It is very flimsy feeling and can be bent with very little effort. it looks and feels like chicken wire that has been painted silver. It was bowed up in the center quite a bit so the grid is not even touching the center feet. The feet supports are not bent at all and when I tried to flatten it out I started to hear some creaking and metal popping like it was about to fall apart so I stopped. I'm guessing the grid is slightly larger than the frame. The grid is only attached to the outer frame; it is not attached to the cross-supports ("feet") allowing the liftoff I described above. I cannot imagine any business anywhere utilizing this "Commercial Quality" product. I do not recommend that anybody buy this based solely on it being dishonestly described as "Commercial Quality" when it is not even close to that. -1 star for build quality, -2 for deceptive description. 2 stars because it holds up my bacon and the paint didn't burn off in the oven.
