I haven't been able to go to the gym as much so I went to Big 5 and bought the basic ab roller for $30. After using it for about a week I returned it. The cheap ab roller was very light and moved around while I did the exercises and it was uneven and leaned to the left as I lifted up. Then I did some reseacrh and decided to purchase the club pro. Right alway I knew this was a strong machine by the weight of the trainer. It is much smoother and the extra weight makes the workouts a little harder, you will feel the burn much more then the basic ab roller. I use to use this one at 24 hour fitness but it disappeared one day. I really recommend this product. The downside is that its expensive and a little uncomfortable, i'm 5'10 and my arms barely reach the arm rest. I don't really use the arm rest so I don't mind it. If your a small person under 5"8, this machine will be to big for you. Review: Pricey, but good product - I used something similar in the gym, I wanted the same for home. I have always enjoyed using this ab trainer. I had a cheap aluminum one but it bent over time. Club Pro Ab Trainer is really good to use. My neck never hurt using one, and that's good in my book :)

Good not Great
This product is much better than average once you get it right. I had screws missing and the headboard was bad. After finally getting replacements, two follow ups by me, it works well. I am not sure it is worth the price though

TERRIBLE PRODUCT - YOU MUST BE A GIANT (LIKE OVER 6 FEET TALL) TO USE
This item is TERRIBLE. I have tried many Ab Rocker-like devices and while this is MADE of quality materials, you must be a giant (minimum 6 feet tall) to even use this. The picture shows the guys elbows resting on the elbow pads. This is IMPOSSIBLE unless you are a giant. I am 5'7" and NOT EVEN CLOSE to being able to rest my elbows on the elbow rests. Also, the bar that you hold onto is a sharp "V" shape, which is very ackward. You can't "push" forward with your hands lightly, like all other ab rollers. Instead, you have to reverse grip your hands like you're doing a pull up. Couple this with fact your elbows cannot touch the elbow rests, and this device becomes an ergonomic monstrosity. While the material it is made out of is robust, the assembly instructions are pathetic. The took me 45 minutes to assemble, with slightly different sized screws that ONLY fit certain spaces and NO detail written instructions (photos - about 4 altogether). Overall - unless you are a GIANT, pass on this. It is absolutely terrible. In fact, I believe these are old stock and the item has been discontinued anyways. The web address on the product itself shows an entirely different product. The BEST ab roller I've used to date, (and I've tried a lot) is The Perfect Fitness Crunch. It supports your neck better than any and will easily accommodate normal and smaller sized people.

Not designed for women.
The product was fine except that it was likely designed with men in mind as it is too big for the average sized woman; 5 ft. 5 in., so I had to send it back.

Pr Ab Trainer
I chose this particular model Ab Trainer because its a newer version of the one I use where I get my Physical Therapy. I purchased several other models first because of price but they were so inferior in materials and workmanship I actually bent a couple of them the first time I used them and had to return them. This model at $199.00 is far more than I can afford, but I couldn't afford not too, if you get my meaning. This ab trainer will outlast me! The only negative about this item is the price and the poor directions. It took a while to decipher the directions from the pictures! I would not hesitate to recommend this product for anyone!!!

Club pro ab roller
This is a great product. We had the original version at our gym. It was not made for commercial use and didn't fair well. I did some research and found this ab roller. The members love it. Its well made and will last. Like the design for the added option of plate loading. Its a well constructed hit.
