Hummingbirds love them. Me too!
As you can see, I have quite a few feeders. The 3 that I ordered on Amazon, I them better than my old ones. They are plastic. I don’t know if they’re BPH free I do like the way they come apart and they’re easy to clean. I like that they hold 72 ounces of sugar water. And I would order these again. As my old ones wear out, I will replace them with the Humdinger feeders. I have a lot of hummingbirds. I have been feeding them for 40 years. And I think they told their other relatives where we are. Lol I also live in the country. I have a lot of flowers. And I have a ornamental pond that runs a waterfall. I don’t know if they like the sound of that but I have a lot of trees in my yard and they seem to play in my trees. I use 4 cups of water to one cup of white sugar. Nothing else. I do not boil the water and sugar. I use hot water to mix with the sugar so it dissolves and mixes well. I wait until it cools a bit. And then I start hanging them up on the hooks. I also use ant guards. Which I ordered off of Amazon. And they work.

Good Hi-Capacity Feeder
This is a great high capacity feeder that will meet the needs of those who are lucky enough to attract a massive amount of hummers. We have used other lower capacity feeders, but the time came when we were spending too much time refilling our existing feeders. This feeder is simple to clean and fill. The birds have voted with their wings and it has become our most popular feeder. When the feeder becomes overcrowded, the birds have to agree to perch rather than hover at the feeder. But it is not uncommon to see 6 or more birds perched at a time. The quality of the feeder is not high, but given the price, it is a value. It gets the job done and maintenance is minimal. I placed this feeder under my eave, so it is generally shaded and the birds seem to like being out of the direct sun, wind and rain, etc. I'm only using this feeder during the busiest summer months which means I'm still replacing the fluid every other day. Once they reduce in number, I'll go back to my lower capacity feeders to keep the fluids fresh. Delivery of this product was slow, so I'm not sure if this product is being phased out.

Cracked- Leaking - Doesn't Hold it's Own Weight
Have to start with the fact that I did love this dinger due to its size. This 72oz feeder saved me every week from having to fill all of my other feeders every day or twice a day. It was a short 6 months of using this dinger before the top started to crack where the hook connects (due to how heavy it is, I assume). This crack sucks air when it is hanging from the hook and causes a constant leak (losing 72oz of feed). Maybe this should have a rope basket similar to a hanging pot, instead of just a thin metal hook on weak plastic. I did try to contact the seller and tell them about this, with hopes they'd replace it or at least get some information of how mine broke so quickly. They were not very helpful, telling me that I only have 30 days for a warranty. I hate making bad reviews, but I also hate when sellers don't take care of their bad/faulty products for their customers. So, here is what happened to me.

Made well but not practical
I gave it to my neighbor. I have lots of hummingbirds and feeders and wanted to try this one out. It's sturdy and works well but next to impossible to clean due to the small neck.

The size is great!
The size is great! We have about 30 hummingbirds at a time! I like that it is glass. It is easy to clean because of the glass. No leaking!

I would buy it again.
This is pretty sturdy for a plastic feeder and easy to clean and fill. The base is tight so you will need to use the slots to gently pry the top off to clean it. I use the flat handle of a small spoon so I'm sure not to damage it. I'm very happy with this one and the birds took to it immediately. Since there are so many birds feeding this time of year, the large capacity is very usfull.

Ok feeder but not bee proof
I have used this type of bottle feeder for years and although it works plus the hummingbirds use it, it is definitely not bee proof. I accidentally dropped my other bottle feeder and broke the bottle neck, I found a temporary bottle that fit but ordered a new feeder. The main problem with this feeder is the feeding ports are too large so bees can crawl down into the reservoir to eat then they get stuck leaving a mess of dead bees to clean out. I will keep this feeder only as a reserve for the swarms of hummingbirds that migrate here during the fall of the year but will use other brands/styles as my prime feeders. I may try to figure out how to reduce the size of feeder port holes but the hummingbird's safety is priority.
