Yes, It is a sodium hydroxide based product.

Q: Can this be used in an undercounter Hobart warewasher?

We dont recommend our detergent for front loader machines but it should work since our some of the customers using it. If it doesnt work you can return it free of charge and will give you a full refund.

Q: is this product environmentally safe and non toxic?

When filling the 1 gallon container that we use for operating our commercial dishwasher , I wear gloves that are impervious to absorption and I shield my face with a disposable plastic face shield. I guess it is enviromentally safe because it is neutralized in the sanitizing process. Use caution when filling your container.

Q: Due to the value and Eco friendly product. I would like to try it for home use... Pour into dish soap dispenser, dishwasher?

This product is not suitable for home use. It is just for industrial dish washers.
