Elementary Statistics Plus MyLab Statistics with Pearson eText -- Access Card Package 6th Edition

Well written and easy to follow. This text book is the base for an online statics class I am taking and for some one with out a strong math background I've been able to get along well in the class using this book and the attached online materials. I still like the organization of Khan Academy better for online learning, but MyMathLab is surprisingly functional.

Great book for a first time statistics taker. Common sense examples are helpful and many having the answers to the books sample problems at the end of the book is so very helpful. I highly recommend this text.

I ordered this textbook because it was affordable and it said it came with the student MyStat Lab access card. It didn't come with the access card so I had to spend even more money to be able to do my class. It is convenient to have the physical textbook, but since there was no access card, I had to spend even more money... It came with the DVD with the practice quizzes and other things, but no access code.

Can you really love a textbook? I can! This is full of fun statistics, like how much ice cream people consume in a year. Anyway, if you're looking at buying this book, then your instructor assigned it and you have no choice.Beware of used copies! The new one comes with a subscription to the online portion, which my instructor required. If you have to buy it separately it's another $90.

The book was easy to read and very detailed. The access to Statlab is extremely useful. The videos and step by step guides were very beneficial.

Just FYI in case you didn't know (I didn't), "a la carte" books mean they are loose-leaf...no cover, no binding. I had a terrible time when I dropped it and the pages went EVERYWHERE. Saving a little on the book price isn't worth it because you have to go buy a 3-ring binder to fit it. Book quality was good though.

Purchased for a college course. As statistics text books go, fairly well written.

Access code card is helpful as it opens another link to online study. My statistic professor required it and it provided video tutorial, practice exams, and much, much more information.

I was very pleased with the timing of the shipment and the actual book itself. Worth every penny!
