i have a umax scsi flatbed scanner is there usb to scsi that will work??

I have a flatbed Epson GT1000+ A3 scanner. I connect this to my iMac using Microtech USB to SCSI cable. The secret, though, seems to be using Vuescan software. This has worked cosistently during the scanning of numerous albums.Best wishesBill Robb

I have tried to source drivers for the adapter and I have attempted to connect through Photoshop and Silverfast AFL, with absoultely no success. Vuescan doesn't recognise the scanner. It seems that nobody supports the Adapter, neither Epson nor Silverfast. This is a rather expensive mistake on my part and I would recommend that you don't buy this before you see the connection demonstrated on your particular setup. The adapter is well designed, looks good, is easy to fit but doesn't work.
