covers a lot of time
I have enjoyed this manga. It was a lot of fun to read. I am bothered a little because I expected Iku to be more real in her emotions about a stalker grabbing her leg. I expected a reaction afterwards and there wasn't one. And I am seriously beginning to think that Sargeant Dojo is missing hormones...He just stays looking like a teenager. A year and a half passes in this volume and he doesn't make a move of any kind on her. Now really...that tells me that he is not attracted to her and she is easy to forget. Not a good pattern if this is supposed to be a romance with the end result being that this love affair will last a life time. The relationships are really moving slow if at all. Frustrating. His actions toward Iku that show interest are a pat on the head every year and a half...The story is good but the human relationships are seriously lacking substance.

Just amazing...
I've been an avid fan of Library Wars ever since I started reading it a few years ago. It's one of the only manga series that I actually own all of up to the current issue. The series is original, its interesting, and it shows the beginnings of love at its purist. Iku's uncertainty about how Dojo feels about her, and yet total obliviousness to danger and romantic advances of other men I think speaks about her naive nature as a character, but also the fact that she is still a girl who's growing into a woman. I think a lot of us can relate to that--wanting to grow up and still having a lot to learn. I also love how Dojo is so internally conflicted, even when he has no idea how much she really knows. Truly, its like watching two people that you know like each other in a movie and screaming "kiss already!" at the screen. Its a series that leaves you smiling, laughing, and wanting more with every volume. May the months until August go by quickly.

So close...
Will they ever get together???So close...On to reading the next volume. Only an hour until midnight, totally enough time for the next one or two. Sleep is overrated anyways.
