Q: Can it be used on kittens?

A veterinarian should be consulted prior to using this product on any pet less than 5 pounds.

Q: How long does it take to start working?

For our little dog.. It worked fairly quickly.. by evening showed some improvement .. But there again it depends in the severity of diarrhea.Its.Always best to consult your local veterinarian for and major issues.. because we love our sweet puppers..and want to keep them healthy..

Q: My cat can't be held to medicate with a syringe. Does this have a pleasant taste? No taste? I would have to put it directly on his canned food.

It does have a taste, vanilla I believe. Have you tried wrapping your cat in a large towel, with his legs secured? I do that when one of mine doesn't want her meds.
