WEN 73012T 300-Pound Capacity Pneumatic Rolling Mechanic Stool

Bought my first one 2 years ago for use in my garage - that one has received at least weekly use and is still going strong. Bottom tray is useful. Bought a second one for inside the house. It's seen much less usage but after about a year, the cylinder must be leaking as the chair will not stay at max height. Called Wen and their customer service was outstanding. After taking my order info, serial number etc they arranged to have a replacement cylinder mailed to me. While waiting for the replacement, watched several Youtube videos on how to remove and replace the cylinder. Came across a video from life with david that suggested trying to turn the seat upside down overnight so that the internal lubricant of the chair gets back to the top of cylinder. This seems to at least temporarily restored the seat able to stay at max height. If not, I'll replace the cylinder.

I really like it. I bought it after trying to find the best massage stool. A friend had a mechanics stool as theirs and I had always thought about getting one and the price and reviews won me over. It gets quite tall but, I have short legs so I keep it all the way down. Love I can put my massage products in the lil base while I move around the table.

I purchased these to use in a production shop.They work really well and roll around a shop floor extremely well.Pros1. Adjustable height is perfect for working on things that are relatively close to the floor.2. They roll around great.3. Having a place to put tolls below you is a pretty good thought, but for things you are having to reach for repeatedly throughout the day it becomes a little tiresome on the back so my crew decided to only put things there that they might need once every 30 minutes or so.Cons1. The weight limit is listed at 300 lbs. I think this might be true if you are sitting in one place. But with our people that are approaching 300 lbs they kept breaking the wheels and the stem as they moved around. Those of us who are closer to the 200 lb range have had no problems however.

I love the height on this and the sturdiness, easy to move and can store tools underneath the seat in the tray, I use this everyday and it looks good too.

This seat rolls easily even with my 260 pounds on it. Light enough to pickup and move too. No complaints about it. Does what I need it to do.
