How much do you apply for bamboo in the ground?

During the growing season I just apply about a 1 major granule thick layer over the rootball. After like 1-2 months you’ll see less and less depending on rainfall. When it looks almost gone, that’s when I reapply. I live in zone 6 with fairly frequent rainfall.

Can this Bamboo Special Formula be used for conifers?

It's designed for Bamboo and it feeds for a full 12 months. Not sure if conifers need food for all 12 months of the year.

How so you apply this, sprinkle and water, etc.and is that 3Tbsp to I Gall one time , which will suffice for the whole year?

This is a granular. You use 1lbs a year for small plants and up to 3lbs per year for large bamboo. Bamboo is a large plant and required plenty of food to thrive. Most fertilizer has to be put down every couple months. This fertilizer laats all year

How much to use for planted bamboo, the gram/sq.ft. on the back of the package seems very high?

It's a year of slow release nutrition and bamboo is a hungry and aggressive growing plant so it will seem like a high dose.
