Once you have the manufacturer blade kit, you can run a blade on the trimmer. The blade kit replaces the string kit. So, yes this will work, once you have the blade kit.

I've the "Razor-max" version of this blade on my 22 cc Echo brushcutter from the late '70s. Works flipping GREAT. Dunno what's up with Kerry, but this is one of the best blades I've seen. I cut some big invasives running the engine a bit above idle. You can touch up the cutters with a 3/16" "round" file, the size you use on .325" pitch saw chain. Haven't had to, yet.For the price, this sort of blade is a total no-brainer. Just NEVER try to cut dirt or metal. NEVER.
