BeeSpring Lens Ribbon Flex Cable for Playstation 4 PS4 Console DVD Disk Drive

Got this for a PS4 disc drive repair. It fit perfectly. It does not have the bends the OEM has. You will have to bend it yourself.

It solved my problem immediately. Really great product. 100% satisfaction. I wasn't able to update my ps4 and with this cable I did it in like 2 minutes. Really nice.

Was having issues updating the PS4 software kept giving me an error when it tried updating. Wasn't sure what to do I searched the Internet for a solution and found out about this strip. I've been cleaning and taking apart my PS4 and knew it could've been the strip from damage over time. Last cleaning I was having a difficult time putting the strip back in when I was done I pulled on it a lot. This was the option I chose after a YouTuber explained it could be this part causing the error. Sorry for the long review but I wanted others to know it can help! Keep the ps4's alive!

-This item arrived really late but they did compensate me by refunding the shipping to me so that's a plus. -Item was straight and not pre-bended like it says on the product description. The ribbon ends that goes into the motherboard was a tad bit bigger but very minimal. -Color was not of OEM specs I was pretty skeptical to bend the ribbon by myself but in the end it WORKS!!! Before you start bending it, look closely to the original ends. One end has a tape around it indicating it's the sending end and not the receiving end. I started bending it the wrong way and noticed it before putting the power supply back on. So, I bended it again expecting it to not work but it ultimately did. Now, I can update to the newest firmware and games. Pro Tip - Use a needle nose plier to bend the ribbon. You'll get a much better result. My ribbon attached to each end loosely, maybe I'll use electrical tape next time I open the ps4 up again.

Had to replace the ribbon cable for the disk drive ended up ripping the cable and this was easy to install although I do wish that it was pre-folded so there wasn’t any risk to breaking the ribbon cable as you’re installing

This ribbon cable fixed my no working eject button on my PS4. I could eject the cd with my controller but could not eject the cd with the button on the PS4. Now I can do both.

Works, but didn't click and hold into place properly. Only held into place because it was forced to by the position of the other parts once everything was put back together. Do not recommend

Wasn't quite as described...but I think due to my lack of knowledge was the main issue...but not enough pins in the ribbon..but upon request for refund..I was more than satisfied with the return. And was super quick with it..to fix this issue just make the listings more detailed and accurate as in what models it does and does not work for so on and so forth

Sons PS4 wouldn’t complete the software update. Research indicated he needed a DVD drive to be working to accept the update. Easy test to see if the drive was working or not. Push the eject button and got a double beep and no response. Replacement of the cable necessary! Worked immediately after installing this cable. Push eject and you hear the drive trying to eject a disc or it will eject a disc if one was in there. Note: Your Bluetooth and WiFi connectors sit underneath the power block you have to remove to swap out the DVD cable. They can easily pop off. Make sure they are still connected after you replace the cable or you’ll be taking it all apart again to do just that… Ask me how I know lol.

Didn't look long enough but fits perfectly also its thicker than original thus harder to shape but it works great 👍

The packaging for the product was nice and ensured it arrived safely and intact given the fragility of the pins. A little fiddly to work with and does need good attention to replace the broken vable.
