Just get it.
100% impressed with the power and quality of this budget friendly entry level amp. Certified power ratings included are accurate. Purchased for my daughter’s jeep for Christmas. 6 months later and It is still mercilessly pounding the 10” American bass sub at 2 ohms in a q-logic ported box. Absolutely teeth rattling performance from this combination. If you’re hunting for massive power at minimal cost you just found it.However be forewarned. This guy is an absolute beast with a massive appetite for power. Be sure your electrical system is up to par. Between this brute and Michigan winter cold, the previously mentioned jeep (2007 KJ) with an 5 fared amp cap ended up getting a new 150 amp alternator for $200 and a brand new $300 Optima battery. Both the replaced components were old so it was no surprise however forewarning, this amp will literally pound the final nail in the coffin of worn out vehicle electrical systems. With the solid power supply after alternator and battery replacement, this monster is performing unbelievably. I’ve been building car audio systems for over twenty five years and have felt a 10” hit soooo hard! Rockville is no joke.

I'm impressed
I wrote a long review on the rockville website. I don't normally write reviews unless I think the product is really good or it failed horribly. I bought this because I bought a rockville k6 15" subwoofer and it sounded horrible. I have a long history with car audio and electronics. I was an installer for a company in my younger days. I used to buy only fosgate and kicker subs and amps because they are good and proven, but I got tired of paying so much. So I've been looking for a brand that was cheap and was as good as the fosgate and kickers. I think this is it. The 15" is comparable to the 15" mid level fosgate at a third the price. The rdx-m2 is every bit as good as a comparable in power amp from either kicker or fosgate at a third to half the price. This amp replaced an power acoustik bamf 1800.2 rated at 760 watts rms ( I know horrible, but cheap and it push 1 10" ok. It had a lot of distortion though ) anyway this amps certificate rates the amp at 786 watts CEA certified at 1ohm I'm running it at 2ohm at not even 600 watts and it powers this sub perfectly. After buying this amp their sub gets a glowing review as well as the amp doesn't even get hot. I will be buying more of rockville audios car audio equiptment. It gets 5 stars from me for now I will update in a couple months.

Blew up day two
Blew up day two. Wasn't even pushing it hard. Filled car with smoke and caused my son to panic not recommended. Did refund my money quickly though credit for that!!

Bumped until it didnt
It was very very loud. I had it on 2 12 skar subs. Played for about 3 months of abuse, and one day stopped. That's totally my fault tho, I was playing cardigan by don toliver and went a little overboard.

Replacing after one day
Put the amp on 2 pioneer 12 inch subs and it cut off 2 times from heat. I might use it for sub testing but not as a daily driver. As a side note, the amp I had runs all 4 no problems. Edit: the grounds need to be checked for a good connection as I used a splitter to put 2 grounds at 2gauge and it worked. Still didn't push enough bass but good for smaller subs.

Outperforms most sub needs
I’m super pleased. Fits behind seat and has more base RMS power than my sub-woofers (if I want). I did not fully know what that was when I started, so I easily added more resistance by just wiring in series—where one sub powers the next before going back to the amp—I can even go out to another amp, in the future. Plus, class D means I’m not losing much power or creating as much heat. I used a 2/0 to #2 reducer, but it can fit a 2/0 or 1/0 to #1 guage standard reducer, or evan dual #1 input reducer, just put another inline fuse 18” from the battery for the wiring protection. My remote turn on cable fits right in too; plus lower guage/thicker true copper speaker wire.

Super sound quality great buy!!
I’ve had many expensive amplifiers that cut it but this amp for the price is phenomenal! Does more than I expected and I’m running it @ 1 ohm bridged 2-12” kickers and 2-10” Rockford subs bumps harder than I expected I will definitely buy another as for some of the negative reviews I’ve seen are wack!!

Great Amp
Works great with my two 12s Kickers behind the back seat my truck. They power ratings seem to be what they say they are!
