Beautiful
This was A +. Brand new. Extremely impressed. The key bed impressed me so much that I ordered the 49 M-Audio Oxygen Pro 49. I use to bang on keyboards, even my B-3. Adrenaline of the moment. I played it so hard one night I broke two keys, problem, I was sitting in. The C and A center were broken. Fixed the next day. I haven’t done that in a long time. The waterfall semi-weighted keys on the Oxygen Pro 49 were stunning. Don’t go by my opinion because it is so subjective. For me, they are perfect. Using it with an iPad Pro M4, GarageBand, Cubasis, and Aria plus all my apps is great. it will take some time to assign all the buttons and knobs but the fact that it will actually make the transport work is astounding. Love it. If you have any tips and tricks please send them. The breakthrough was the end of the user’s manual. Superb!

Not bad
Its a great small midi option. However, for those wanting to use a pitch bend frequently, it is very sloppy with slow reactions.

Love the feel
The plus is that the keys are slightly larger. It doesn't feel like some little toy and the semi weighted keys are great. Having gotten it to it yet, but pleased so far.

This Keyboard COULD Be Awesome! Sadly...um, no.
Okay, first I need to post a caveat, so anyone reading this review understands that I DO NOT have the qualifications to do an extensive review about a product like this. I am a MIDI n00b, and so all I can fairly review on this keyboard is some features I have a limited understanding of as well as how well it actually works.I also want to state that I initially ordered e cheaper MIDI Keyboard in the Alesis V25, but I had a problem with that unit that is apparently well documented, which is intermittent multiple notes from a single pad press. So I ordered this M-Audio unit because it looked like it was a step up from the Alesis, which, in fairness, in terms of features, it really is. I also love the weight of the keys on the MKV. The features I did manage to try out were very nice, a step up from the even more budget Alesis. If only I could get the thing to work properly like the Alesis does, I would be in Heaven. I checked, by the way, in case it was user error. Since I only initiated the return for the V25, I was able to confirm that NONE of the major problems I was having with the Oxygen were present with the Alesis. So here are the list of problems I have come across, and mind you, this is ONLY my second day with it.-Very hard to connect the Oxygen MKV to Tracktion/Waveform 11 (Free). Now maybe this is a software issue or maybe it's a Windows 11 64bit issue. I don't know. But in order for me to get the Oxygen to work at all, I have to jump through several hoops. I have to disable ALL the Oxygen MIDI drivers and re-enable them. I then have to try and re-try several "Set As Default" options in the MIDI settings. Sometimes, that all fails, and I have to reboot my PC. The Oxygen "connects" just fine via USB, and Waveform even sees it, and thinks it is connected, but it more often than not doesn't produce any sound, nor do the key presses register in the DAW until I do all those steps.-For reasons passing understanding, the keyboard ONLY seems to output to ONE of my MIDI tracks. It also REFUSES to record to any other MIDI tracks but one of the MIDI tracks in my project. Weird, but true.Obviously, this keyboard is untenable, and I am returning it to Amazon ASAP. NOTE: I thought perhaps that the problems I was having were user-error, since I am new at all this DAW and MIDI tech. Thank God I didn't return the Alesis yet, or I would still be wondering if the problem was ME and not the Oxygen. The Alesis worked flawlessly, with NONE of the bugs and problems I am experiencing with the MKV. The second I plug The Alesis in and refresh the MIDI Driver List, everything works just fine. It records to all tracks, plays notes/beats easily and on command from the second I plug it in, and there are none of the problems I have with the Oxygen present.I tried looking for drivers, but none were available for my OS and keyboard. I also have tried a million times to get their tech support on the phone, to no avail. Plus, they seem to want me to register the warranty before I would be eligible for "Complimentary tech support?" lol Really? Okay, not that this even mattered, because I couldn't even get a person on the phone no matter how hard I tried. So I am sending this thing back as my first and last M-Audio purchase!

Solid beginner instrument
The product was a great place to start. MIDI into my DAW worked perfectly. Key weight felt fine. It is a bit on the bulky side. The down side is this…I outgrew it in 2 months. I needed real MIDI jacks out. I needed some sequencing capabilities. Ok if you are just running to DAW. Outside of that really limited.
