Following a burglary I figured I really needed to get an alarm. All my research kept coming back to Ring as the obvious choice for my circumstances. I ordered this kit, plus some additional sensors and it turned up next day. I assumed I'd probably need to spend an hour going through the instructions, and then further hours physically installing everything. How wrong I was. It's this simple: 1. Install the Ring App; 2. Plug in the base station and scan its QR code to add it to the App; 3. Add the sensors in the same way by scanning their QR code, peel off the self-adhesive backing and stick them to the wall; 4. Repeat step 3 until you've put up all your sensors. It took me about half and hour in total.The App is very simple to use. 'Disarmed': Not set; 'Home' Only exterior doors (or things you've nominated in the setup) are set; 'Away' Everything set. The dashboard give you quick access to these modes, so you can quickly arm or disarm the system as you go in and out of the house. There's also a neat geofencing feature which will remind you to disarm as you're getting close to home, or remind you to set the alarm if you've got far enough away without setting it.All-in-all I'd wish I'd bought this system earlier. Hindsight is a marvellous thing.

Decided to ditch my traditional alarm as I finally got fed up of the every increasing annual maintenance charges to "change the batteries"... Yes there is a subscription in order to record cameras, but much cheaper...Have used Ring elsewhere, so pleased to report it is a doddle to set up, and even managed to set up arming and disarming via Alexa...

Brilliant system

I get it, it's pricey, especially when you start adding more and more to the pre-set size packs. But this is absolutely worth it. Having just installed a new Ring hard-wired doorbell and upgrading to Gigabit internet in the property, a Wi-Fi based alarm, also from Ring, was a great shout. The setup was seamless, the adhesion of the devices has been great, and the control from the app has been so-well designed. Absolutely love that the keypad also has a built in SIM and battery, so if the Wi-Fi goes down it's still got you covered for some time. If you're gonna invest in this and have multiple Ring devices, you might as well spend that little bit extra every month and upgrade to the Ring Protect Plus plan for multiple devices and remote monitoring for the alarm. The modular aspect works wonders, so if you look around and think "I'd like another sensor here" etc, just order one and when it's delivered, open the Ring app, scan the QR code on the device you're adding, pair it and you're done!

Bought this system to replace an old alarm that had sort of come to the end of its life.Easy to install and everything paired up quickly ,so far doing everything it should.Had a fob on the old system which would have been nice to be able to get with this one but it's just as easy to arm/disarm on keypad or on the app too.

I had an old alarm that was put in by a security company, whilst it was rock solid it was hard to customise and was out of date. I decided to install the ring alarm to go with my cameras so I ordered the large kit. It was easy to install and the app picked everything up without fail. I have had zero false alarms to date and have now included the siren and power pack. A great purchase.

Das Ring Alarm System ist sehr gut für Laien einzurichten. Mit optionalen Erweiterungen kann man sein Zuhause gut absichern. Die Übertragung der Meldungen geht schnell. Die Sirene ist nicht zu überhören. In der App kann man das System gut auf seine Bedürfnisse einstellen.Für volle Funktionalität ist ein Abo notwendig.Die Alexa Einbindung ist gut. Allerdings ist es noch etwas schwierig weitere Routinen mit nicht Ring Geräten zu erzeugen.Aber auch da wird es wohl Updates geben.Ich bin zufrieden und werde das System noch erweitern.

Si monta veramente in pochi minuti, La centralina incorpora la sirena, ogni accessorio si aggiunge al sistema semplicemente scannerizzando un codice a barre, si può acquistare, magari in offerta il Kit base e poi espanderlo a seconda delle proprie necessità con telecamere, sirene, citofono etc. L'app è semplice da utilizzare, gratuita, ma con la possibilità di acquistare a pagamento servizi accessori di vigilanza da remoto, consultazione delle registrazione delle telecamere etc

Kit complet s’utilise parfaitement dans une maison, facile d’installation livrée en temps et en heure.Dommage qu’il y ait quelques services payants mais ça fait le job, en plus de ça c’est évolutif… Bien !
