What if the deck is 6 in-a foot above the pool?

We built a little platform to attach the ladder to, but our pool was 6 inches higher. Attach it to the deck as close to the edge as possible. That's what we did with our first pool.

It is not sturdy but ok if only kids I had to use boards on both sides to secure mines and it works great.

I would have to build my deck up about 4 in to put this ladder on the cover of 52 inch pool would that work

I BUILT MY DECK, LEVEL WITH MY 48" POOL. THEN I MOUNTED THE THE BRACKETS THAT THIS LADDER MOUNTS ON TO THE DECK ITSELF, AND IT WORKS GREAT!!! WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! I HOPE THIS HELPED.
