Household Essentials White Washed Rustic Decorative Wooden Trunk, Medium

Mediums size trunk purchased in the warehouse. Trunk came ALMOST fully assembled. Due to defect, the side and lid were not attached. If you buy a full price, I’m not sure if this trunk is fully assembled.I am giving 5 stars because of the price and look. I purchased in the warehouse for a steal, but the trunk had issues:-The top was not attached, but had been-the side was also not attached, but had beenI nailed the side and top (I need more nails for the side)I read the reviews prior to purchase:THE NOISE, is a bracket that holds the lid in place so it doesn’t slam down. When you open or close it clicks, that’s it.THE WOOD, is authentic so there will be some flaws, that’s what makes it niceTHE SMELL, mine did not have a smell.I do believe it was put together poorly, and you may need to reinforce with common household nails.OVERALL, descent size trunk with aged look, value for the money if you can get in the warehouse.*I use the trunk for storage of my supplies and staging pics on top. The little things pic on trunk are florals and mine so please disregard*

VERY CUTE BOX, I'M USING MINE AS A BABYSHOWER GIFT BOX TO FILL UP AND THEN IT CAN BE USED AS A SMALL TOY BOX OR JUST A STORAGE BOX. THERE IS FLAWS IN THE WOOD BUT THAT IS TO BE EXPECTED WITH REAL WOOD. I LOVE IT

I bought this trunk for my Mom who is redecorating her bedroom with a rustic farmhouse vibe. This trunk worked perfectly with her theme. When this trunk arrived I was very surprised at how light weight the box was. It made me very nervous to open it. I was pleasantly surprised however. It was a good size and looked EXACTLY like the pictures. Nothing was scratched, damaged or anything. It was perfect. The one thing I was disappointed about is that the whole trunk is made of real wood EXCEPT the back. The back is some sort of hd or md fiber board similar to hard backing board. But the hinges seem to be sturdy and attached to it well so I can't complain too much. All in all I like it very much!

For the money, I could’ve gotten something better at my local craft store. This is very cheaply made. We’re only using it to store firewood inside, so thankfully we still have a use for it. Not sturdy at all, so don’t recommend at all placing anything heavy on it or sitting on it. Definitely not worth $100 for medium box. Not whitewash at all. More brown with green undertones, I’ll be painting it.

This pic was taken outside . I read other reviews before purchasing . This is a grey but has slight hues of green depending on the lighting. I still ordered because I needed something this size for dog toys. If I am not happy with color will chalk paint a different color., not a big deal. The back is thin press board , the top has a mock latch and there is one arm hinge inside for opening and closing ( which is creaking) . No, was not worth the price I paid but needed something this size. Looks decent . Kind of low for a sofa side table but would look nice as an accent piece.

This was exactly what I needed. It was sturdier and lighter than I imagined and fits perfectly in our small entryway to hold a bag of salt for winter and a bag of cat litter year round. Makes our entry way much more organized and attractive. We bought a second one we plan to alter and make into a litter box cover. It will take some major alterations but will look great. There was an odor when they arrived but leaving them open fir several days and spraying with an enzyme freshener helped to dissipate it. Seemed like a lacquer odor that intensified from being closed up for a long time. BTW the packaging was amazing and very protective.

Got this to keep firewood ready. It will work great. Lid stays up when fully opened but hinge doesn't keep it up at all angles so wouldn't be good around small children. Definitely worth the price. Looks nice. Will keep dirt and creepy crawlies from escaping.

If this wasn’t so cute I’d return it. Extremely cheap material - first one arrived damaged due to thin, easily breakable “wood” that it’s made of. 2nd arrived, also with crack, but at least not on the lid and face of it. Mind you the back of this is just plain brown particle board, intended not to be seen. Weighs nothing & not a solid piece by any means. Holds a cup of coffee sitting on it which is what I am using it for. I hope it at least lasts a year. If someone sat on it, it would be kindling.
