A Timeless Classic Reimagined for Young Readers
As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for books that can captivate my children's imagination while imparting valuable life lessons. "Little Pilgrim's Progress" has been an absolute treasure in our household, enchanting both my 7-year-old and 10-year-old.This illustrated edition breathes new life into John Bunyan's timeless allegory, making it accessible and engaging for young readers. The simplified language and child-friendly characters have made it easy for my kids to grasp the deeper meanings behind the story. My 7-year-old is particularly drawn to the vivid illustrations, which bring the characters and their adventures to life. She often asks to look at the pictures again and again, sparking conversations about the story's themes. My 10-year-old, on the other hand, has been captivated by the plot itself. He's old enough to start recognizing the allegorical elements, and it's been wonderful to see him make connections between Christian's journey and real-life challenges and choices. What I appreciate most is how this book has opened up meaningful discussions about faith, perseverance, and moral choices with my children. It's become a bedtime favorite, with both kids eagerly anticipating each new chapter.

Great version for children and adults
This is an excellent version of John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress. It's easy to understand, even if some of the lessons might be over the head of very young children, they would still enjoy the story. The illustrations bring the story to life and are adorable. I have enjoyed this book as an adult, and so have my children.

My favorite children’s book!
This will easily become my favorite book of all time to read with my children. It’s adorable first of all. But most importantly it has so many great biblical lessons and deeper meanings that help create opportunities for amazing discussions between you and your children that are thought provoking but age appropriate. You can go really deep theologically as you read the story, or keep it more simple for younger kids. I’m so impressed. It’s actually an incredibly moving book. We are 30 pages in and I’ve already cried 3 times (in a good way).

Excellently Written for Kids
After finishing the little pilgrim, big journey series, this book was our next purchase. Definitely geared towards a slightly older child compare to the previously mentioned series but still full of enteral truths that are well explained for children. I highly recommend this both for the content and beautiful illustrations.

Fantastic Book
This is incredible and will be one we read multiple times throughout childhood. We read the first part (Christian’s journey) when my son was five and, while I’m sure some of the allegory went over his head, it helped to lay the foundation for some good conversation. We unintentionally waited until he was about 6-and-a-half to start reading the second part (Christiana’s journey) - not for lack of interest, but just due to us having another baby, etc. The second part is a bit shorter and makes a lot of references to things that you read about in more detail in the first part. So I do recommend trying to read the second part close in time to finishing the first. But I can tell, even being just a little bit older, he really is understanding a lot of the metaphorical concepts, and it has really added to our efforts to teach our kids about what it means to be a Christ-follower. It is so beautifully written. Very robust vocabulary and nice pictures. My son, and now my four-year-old child, really love listening to me read this book. I haven’t read the adult version, but I certainly intend to do so now!

Beautiful story and illustrations
Beautiful illustrations, fantastic story edition. My daughter is 2 and loves the pictures, but is still a little young to grasp the story. I as an adult can imagine reading this for a long time, as I love the story myself, and there’s so many nuggets of wisdom!

The BEST Children's Book!
My kids (4&6) absolutely loved this book! They loved the illustrations and it filled their minds with adventure and great biblical concepts. They actually sat attentively through all ~300 pages and then wanted to read the whole thing all over again! It's very well written with short chapters and amazing art. The kids will love it, but it's also a special treat for adults to read it too as you'll be encouraged in your own heart has you read it to them.
