Are these rivets rugged, as in, the rivets found at the corners of a pair of Levi's jeans pockets?

These rivets are pretty rugged, as long as you put them on properly. I found that it is easy to put them in at a slight angle and then I had to redo the rivet. I'm not sure if they are as rugged as the rivets put in jeans, but they are still pretty rugged, and for the price, the package is worth it...to me.

Can you use these on flip flops

This particular set, no. They would be too small. These heads are only about the size of bic pen clickers.

Will this work on 7-9oz leather?

I don’t know. If you measure the thickness of your leather with a caliper you should be able to compare that to the mm measurement of the rivets. You need very very little to push the cap on and set it. Maybe 1mm at the most.

They work and look great.

This is a nice set of brass rivets that work perfectly if you follow directions which are simple. I like the variety of finishes on the rivets to match or replace existing ones. Have strengthened some knives sheaths. Excellent. Thanks
