RJX SP Racing F3 Flight Controller for FPV RC Drone Quadcopter

Avoid this one...I initially opened the package and connected to BF to make sure it worked--it did. So I updated to the new version. No problem there either. I went ahead made all of my solder points and connections, and then begin to configure what was left to do. At this point, I realized my receiver was not working. After quite a bit of wasted time, I found the receiver was not getting power from the flight controller. So I powered the Rx from my PDB. I wasn't happy, but it worked.Then after setting up my modes, I began to test them. I discovered the buzzer did not work. I went back and checked, resoldered, checked and rechecked the solder point. Nothing. I disconnected the buzzer and checked it independent of the flight controller. It works fine...so something is wrong with those pins. Having a buzzer is mandatory for flying! I am pretty upset about it, but don't want to take it apart now.It does seem to fly well, but the issue with the receiver and buzzer made it a deal breaker. The Rx is a common problem with this clone -- I've since learned.EDIT: 7/16/17 -- Review changed from 1-star to 5-starsAfter posting this comment , the seller contacted me. I did not reach out prior. RJXHOBBY asked what would be a suitable resolution. Ultimately, they sent out a replacement. It arrived a few days ago. I finally had a chance to redo the build and test everything out. I am very pleased with this FC. It came pre-loaded with the newest version of BF. All outputs work. I am currently running 4k/2k loops times (I'm not that great of a pilot) and it flies very well!

I am fairly new to the quad building a flying phenom, but I can say that this Flight Controller is absolutely amazing! It has more options that you will probably need, and if you want barometer and osd through your board, purchase the Deluxe. I am no expert but from what I gathered through ample web analysis, if your flight controller has the Cleanflight logo and SP Racing F3 logo printed directly on the board it is authentic..? If it does not have it printed on it, it is said to be a knock off. Either way this seller has an authentic SP Racing F3 Flight Controller! I will buy many more! Whats not to like about this product? Iam giving three stars because 3 out of the 5 I bought worked n the three that worked only work till u have one or two ruff landings n they start acting up not keeping level on horizon mode it will pitch one way tried calibrating accelerometer n it still pitches one way

This is a great flight controller. I just wish the seller (and others on Amazon) would stock the deluxe version with the OSD. I have used this FC in the past, and it is a reliable and decent unit that WAY outshines the Naze32 and some of the other inexpensive go-to FCs on the market.

I really don't like doing bad reviews, but I have bought quite a few of these flight controllers. something always craps out on them this latest one I bought crapped out after I was doing some maintenance on my quad that was unrelated to it. It just stopped connecting to the computer for no reason. I will not be spending my hard earned money on crappy components anymore. May start spending a little more to get the higher end controllers. These are a waste of money.

I have bought a few of these boards from this vendor. I have had 2 of them not function correctly, one will not arm with transmitter, another does not work at all. The vendor worked with me to resolve the issue and is giving me a coupon for another purchase.

I bought this to replace an old board I had broken in a bad crash and when it arrived I was very excited to get it a soldered up and get back in the air but the board I received was not new. It had solder in random places. It was dirty and looked heavily used. It had solder connecting positive and negative ports on the board and I didn't even bother testing if it worked before getting online and asking to return it. I bought this expecting a new board and instead what I received looked like a board that a child learning to solder had used to practice and then thrown in the trash. If I could give zero stars then I would and I will never trust this seller again.

So now I know the difference between a clone and the real deal, thanks to THIS!My last board decided to stop working after a few months of usage - so this was a lifesaver.It came preloaded with Betaflight 3.1.7 and configured almost perfectly for my Wizard x220. This took under an hour to replace.I really, really hope this will last and not malfunction or have defects that show up a few weeks later under normal usage.Thank you!!
