good quality material. only downside is they are on the larger side and heavy side for ladies with small hands most likely it would be perfect for a man. but very sharpe and cuts meats up so easily. i would recommend getting this one the cutting ability is great.

These scissors are larger than I expected, but that oversight was my fault for not thoroughly reading the product information. Despite this, I really like these scissors. They feel and appear both very solid and very durable, akin to industrial-grade equipment. I haven't tried running them over with my car, but I'm confident they would withstand it without any damage. The scissors' handles are large, accommodating for people with big hands. Everything about them seems very robust. There isn't anything in a kitchen (or the entire house) that these scissors wouldn't be able to handle. I'd go so far as to say that these scissors would fit perfectly alongside a carpenter's tool belt and other construction tools. They could be used on hunting trips for tasks involving large animals like elk or deer, down to smaller game such as pheasants or ducks. These scissors arrive extremely sharp, comparable to a knife blade. They are made from 3CR14 stainless steel, which offers several advantages over other steel types like 440C and VG10. 3CR14 stainless steel is easier to maintain as it sharpens more easily, is less prone to chipping, and is more cost-effective. These scissors are excellent, and I plan to purchase additional pairs as gifts for family members and friends.

These CGBE Kitchen Shears are rock solid, and I was so impressed I bought a second pair! They are incredibly sharp and feel "meaty" in the hand—not as a pun, but they are heavy-duty and slice through meat and poultry like butter. Their quality is far superior to the standard scissors that came with my original 15-Piece Cutlery Block Set, especially with their solid construction versus those with plastic handles. While I haven't used the serrated edge, I am confident based on the exceptional quality of this device that it could cut through just about anything. They are heavy-duty, comfortable, and dishwasher safe. Highly recommended for anyone needing serious kitchen shears.

These scissors are of decent quality and have a bit of weight, but since I often put them in the dishwasher, I feel there's a little bit of paint chipping off the handle.

I am such a scissor snob. Nothing but Ginghers for sewing and needlework and yarn work. I have over a thousand dollars wrapped up in just Ginghers and for only very specific purposes. Paper crafting has specific style for its scissors and I have a half dozen or so of those. And dollar store scissors; at least a half dozen of those about. And for all my life I've had several scissor monkeys on my back. Inevitably they rust (especially in tackle boxes) or when they're left on the porch late at night after a 'craft-in' or just plain quality and time. But I've never had kitchen scissors i like. And I truly don't believe price equals quality. These scissors are high end value at a decent, almost low end, price point. I bought a rose gold pair over five months ago. I was blown away before I even opened the box they were packaged in. Heavy. Nice heavy scissors. Gorgeous rose gold. And absolutely no signs of the color rubbing off, chipping, or flaking. Excellent handles. Non-specific so any way I pick them up they're fine. No changing hands. And they cut through meat and bone beauuuuuuuuutifully. Recently I've been using them to break up ice. The ice pick was no where to be found. These scissors are SUPREME for breaking up ice. To the point I'm ordering my second pair. In red. Will probably end up with a gold pair, too. They are just that good. I'm hoping they'll add blue to the color pallete of options. I would absolutely give these as gifts (as I have many times with Ginghers) and unequivocally recommend them for kitchen work, no matter the task. I do want to add, not sure how they'd stand up to professional kitchen and bone. But for my kitchen. They are the bomb. Thank you.

These scissors are amazing, super sturdy and sharp. I love them and use them frequently when I am cooking. Cutting up a whole chicken has never been easier. This is a must have in any kitchen. The quality is top notch and will last me for many years.

These are great scissors to keep in the kitchen. They are rugged and cut through everything I've thrown at them. The bottle cap remover has been handy because we can never find a bottle top remover when we need one! I like the big handles, which give you good leverage. And they are easy to sharpen which I've done a couple times, because I like them sharp.

I got the kitchen shears and they’re really handy — the blades are sharp and they cut through meat, herbs and even light cardboard with no problem. The handle grips feel solid and non-slip, which makes me feel safe using them. One thing though: the joint was a little stiff when I first tried them so I had to work the handles a bit to loosen things up. Overall they’re a good buy and I’d definately keep using them for lots of tasks.
