How does this compare with Megahydrate or other hydrogen ion supplements?

I am celiac. please elaborate on the maltose in this product. does it contain gluten? malt is gluten.

Maltose is not the same as malt. Maltose is a mono-sugar like glucose. It is gluten free

What are the optimal conditions to obtain the maximum PPM when a tablet is dropped?

These are my experiences: 1) Make sure that there is very little air space between the top of the water and the bottle cap. In other words, fill the bottle with as much water as you can. 2) Screw the cap on tight. The idea is to force the bubbling back into the water and not to let much escape. This creates a  higher PPM. Some people have suggested shaking the bottle before opening. I have not found this to produce more Hydrogen. Also~adding alkaline drops may also up the levels of Hydrogen. Good luck!
