Q: Could it be worn on the shoulder? My son wants to be a pirate for holloween

I purchased this fir my son and he loves it! It records and repeats. It’s a slap bracelet that goes around the wrist.

Q: Why doesn't look as colorful as the picture?

The one I purchased looked exactly like the picture. This was actually my second one. The first one was purchased at a local retailer, but it stopped working and my granddaughter was so upset that I search for this on Amazon and was so happy to find it.

Q: Does this make any noises?

It plays back recordings of your voice in a higher pitched voice, my 6 yr old killed the battery in 2 days

Q: What type of batteries are required?

This talking parrot takes three LR44 button style batteries, which you can access by opening the Velcro secured back of the bird and unscrewing the battery cover. I recommend buying the replacement batteries on Amazon, where you can get them in bulk. For example, you can get 20 of these for $5-6 vs. several dollars for a 2-pack at a local drug store.
