It really does make everything sound better
Very cool. Lots of pedals have multiple uses but are really only good for one thing (if that.) Giggity lets you tailor the EQ in ways that seem to make everything sound a little better, and the sun/moon thing lets you audition 2 brighter and 2 "fatter" choices instantly. As a clean boost it works fine but I've got an RC Booster, so that's covered. Giggity can also be used as a treble booster for leads, or it can be used as a tone-neutral boost to let your amp do the overdriving, which sounds better (to me) than a Sparkle Drive, Zen, Tree of Life, Timmy, etc, etc. It can be used to push fuzzier pedals like Tube Drivers or Fuzz Face into Eric Johnson territory.Giggity can also be useful when the EQ is just all wrong. I have a direct to computer recording setup that was always muddy sounding and Giggity dialed this in with more clarity and "presence" more quickly than my EQ pedal or the tone controls on my RC Booster.Negatives? Well, the name isn't helpful. Nor are controls named sun, moon, body and air. These sound like something from a head shop in Greenwich Village around 1969. Nor is it a thing of beauty. But it can do some beautiful things. If you have a good sound but want to refine it a bit Giggity is great. It's not really an effect though, so it won't make dramatic changes by itself. I can't make up my mind where to put it in the signal chain since it does different things in different places (all good) and I don't want to buy a second one.

Probably not what you first think it is - but then after possibly better!
This pedal grows and grows on you. My 1st impression was a bit of a letdown at first with all of the glowing reviews. It takes a bit of fiddling to learn to appreciate this pedal. Once you become aware of how to use - the fact is that you can adjust to get your *perfect* sound. It has a broad spectrum of choice great to quickly experiment. Then the ability to refine like nothing else I've used (so far). Intuitive once you're used to it. Really this is a pedal that you could use *2* of, as it works great in front - or later in an EFX loop... Nice!Update 7/29/2019-Still have this pedal! It is a bit of a chameleon pedal overdrive/boost/eq. I have mostly found use of it to be right after a distortion or overdrive pedal. It plays well with them, as it does with all pedals pretty much anywhere on your pedal board. For me at that place on my pedal board it is a very intuitive para-eq with a bit of drive adding options for shaping. And in this role it sometimes gets taken off the board if I need room, but at some point gets put back on. Useful indeed!

A strange and wonderful pedal!
The Giggity was sort of the final piece to the puzzle for me. Well, as "final" as it ever gets with guitar gear. Giggity is a bit of an odd pedal. It's not quite an overdrive, not quite a boost, and not quite an EQ - but it does all of those things very well. As a standalone overdrive, it's kind of meh. But combined with distortion from another device (amp or pedal), it's killer. For whatever reason, it works a lot better than just using two overdrives. The tone knob frequencies are *perfectly* selected. I have a few ways in which I used the pedal - as a strat bridge pickup fattener; as a solo booster; and to thin out the sound humbuckers for a more chimey clean tone. It's the best pedal for solo boost that I've ever used in 35 years of playing, and I've never been happier with that aspect of my tone. Check out the videos on YouTube; there are some really good videos on how to use the Giggity and some of the tones you can get with it.

Funny name, awesome pedal
This thing is great. Lots of tone options are possible and if you’re looking for something to spice up a DI signal or add some extra feel before hitting an amp or distortion pedal, this is your pedal. Even on its own it gets some great tones; you just have to fiddle with the knobs a bit and try the different “shades

Add this one and done.
Just what was needed to liven up a vintage blond fender bandmaster. It now has WOW.

Giggity Pedal Enhances Tone!
This pedal can be adjusted for subtle effect or a more dramatic tone shift...it can add transparent (or a bit of O/D) sustain to your tone. You can use it to clean up your signal path tone or use beef up your tone without muddying it.On my pedalboard it is always "ON". Very solidly built, I highly recommend this pedal.Use it with a fuzz in front to get a Eric Johnson type lead tone. Or use it to add a bit of sweet crunch to a clean (tube) amp. Very tasteful sounding pedal...well thought out controls and they all do "something".

Sounds great.
Really cool pedal, it really makes everything sound better. You don’t realize you need it until you turn it on and hear the difference it makes. Can be used as a blues OD sound on a clean amp, I set mine to a pretty clean sound and just leave it on all the time.

Meh...
At the beginning of your chain, if you have other pedals, it will just add noise and muddy up your signal. At the end of your chain all it will do is muddy up your signal. Your signal will not sound better with this pedal whether it is at the beginning or the end of the chain. Simpler is better.

Nice to have
Je suis content de l'avoir. Très versatile mais pas indispensable. Fonctionne bien avec tous les type de pickups (single coil, P90 et Humbucker) Comme tous les produits Voodoo Lab la qualité du produit est au rendez-vous.

I didn't get it???
I really didn't get this pedal, it did nothing for my tone and wasn't capable of creating any type of usable drive or boost whatsoever. From what VL are saying you can probably get similar results from an EQ pedalI also briefly owned the Sparkle Drive MOD and while it was OK it wasn't anything great. The best thing about VL pedals is the finish and build quality, the plexiglass finish looks awesome but the sound quality is distinctly average at best.
