Drop What You're Doing and Get This for your Blues Junior
The "Ruby" reverb tank that comes in the Fender Blues Junior is a huge disappointment, shrill and tinny and useful only below about "3". I never used it, which pissed me off, as Reverb was one of the reasons I bought my Blues Junior. I figured that the tinniness was just a by-product of the short 3-spring tank. Boy was I wrong. The BillM website for Blues Junior Mods convinced me to look at replacement reverb tanks. Amazon had this one for a good price, and it arrived in three days. As the other reviews mention, installation LITERALLY takes only a few minutes, as the reverb tank sits on the bottom of the cabinet below the speaker. No cover panels to remove, it's right there in front of you. Remove four phillips screws holding down the old one, remove two phono plugs (clearly labelled IN and OUT), and reverse the process with the new tank. I think I did it in 2 minutes, and that was using my Swiss Army pocket knife. I am not making this up. YOWZA. What a difference. Tinniness? Gone. Limited control? Gone. In their place we got sweet usable reverb that can be adjusted right down to a whisper. I now leave the reverb at 2-to-3 for EVERYTHING, for just a hint of Playing in a Tiled Bathroom. Around 5 or 6 it gets quite Surfy, and above about 8 it gets pretty loopy. I haven't done a direct comparison to a longer tank, but I assume that a nice longer tank would blow this one out of the water. Then again, those Big Boy tanks just won't FIT inside a Blues Junior. Given the length constraint of the small Blues Jr cab, this is a great reverb tank. Good price, super fast delivery, problem solved. The ONLY bad thing in this whole story is that Fender (congenital cheapskates that they are) is still installing cheap, tinny, shrill tanks in one of their most popular amps. What could the price difference be at wholesale between these two tanks? Three dollars? FIVE? One thing is for sure; Fender doesn't read these reviews. Got a Blues Junior? Wanna hear what the reverb is supposed to sound like? Order this tank, and fetch your Swiss Army knife.

Easy install and sounds good!
Used this to replace the reverb tank in an old Tech21 Trademark 10 amp... took ~5 minutes to swap this in. Obviously hard to know how this compares to the original reverb tank that was in the amp.. to the best of my memory, this has very similar sound and looking 'under the hood' at both tanks side by side, they appear almost identical (btw, I couldn't visually see anything wrong with the original). The MOD tank has sort of 50's surf rock kind of sound... think "Walk Don't Run".. Definitely pleased, reverb is back and installation was simple Thank you -

Best investment for improved reverb
My 1995 original issue Fender Blues Jr reverb tank crapped out almost as soon as I got it. I repaired it 3 times before I gave up on fixing it again 28 years later. I was just going to get another replacement Accutronics (Original reverb tank included in the amp) until I started reading there rave reviews about the MOD tank. I pulled the trigger on the MOD and installed it s soon as I got it. My Blues Jr is like a new amp now! This is one of the best reverb tanks I've played through and HIGHLY recommend it as a replacement even if your reverb tank is working fine. It's one of the most musical reverbs built today!

Superb Upgrade for a Monoprice Amp.
MOD makes excellent Reverb Tanks. This was a perfect match for my Monoprice Stage Right 15-Watt Tube Amplifier. It has improved the "drippy" sound that the stock tank was missing. If you have been looking to upgrade, this WILL work.

Good replacement, sounds good, easy to install
When the reverb stopped working on my Fender Stage 100 head I started asking around to find somebody to repair it. When I couldn't really find anybody that I trusted I decided to try it myself. I discovered that the original reverb was easy to access. When I found this unit on Amazon I checked the dimensions, and they matched. It was pretty inexpensive, so I figured what the heck. It arrived in good shape and I had it installed in a few minutes. The reverb sounds great. Very lush. Great unit. I noticed a buzz coming through the amp that I haven't traced down. Might just be a bad cable.

3 spring reverb tank
It worked very well. What I didn't know the amp. Already had a 3 spring reverb tank by fender in it. I didn't check first. My fault.

Great replacement tank for blues jr
I got a Blues jr 4 and I really liked it but the reverb made a pretty loud buzzing sound. You wouldnโt notice it playing loud but in the living room it really bugged me. This is the same size (tiny) but it has no buzz and sounds pretty good. You have to turn it up a little more to get real splashy but it does reverberate enough for me. If I want crazy reverbs Iโll use a pedal but for basic use this was well worth the 30$. Super easy to swap out. I recommend.

The right choice for Vox AC-15 C1
The stock reverb tank on the AC-15 C1 went from 'no reverb' on the knob to 'way too much' with only a slight movement of the knob. Searched the internet and decided on this one. Installed it and found that there is still plenty of reverb on tap. Now I run the knob at about 9 o'clock (20%) and it is a light reverb that doesn't muddy the sound or get in the way. It was very easy to install. It looks and sounds great. If you find your AC-15 has too much reverb, give this a try. An easy and inexpensive mod that will make you love the reverb on your amp instead of fighting with it.

Great upgrade for my Monoprice Stage Right 15w tube combo amp. The stock reverb tank was good from 1 to around 4 but nothing more (good or bad) from 4 to 10. Now I have a plain and full spring reverb. Worth the money if you need more reverb or if you want to explore your sound. 1 less star for the very poor packaging (just a โnewโ mention on the model reference label) and the journey of my item (which has been carried by 3 different companies from the US/Canada border !) Hopefully it has been delivered with minor damage but I was very surprised as MOD is a well known modding/upgrade company.
